HAWAIIAN ISLANDS & CANADA CITY STAY

Volcanoes & Vancouver

Royal Caribbean • Rhapsody of the Seas 28th April 2012 • 16 nights Fire and Ice sums up this holiday of contrast, where the spicy heat of tropical Hawaii meets cool Vancouver, gateway to this icy region of glaciers. A string of emerald islands in the cobalt-blue Pacific Ocean, over 2000 miles from any continent, Hawaii takes a little work to get to, but is well worth the effort. And with a luxury cruise taking in several destinations in Hawaii it means you will see it all in one visit. Hawaii is hiking sculpted cliffs or diving coral-reef cities in the morning and drinking mai tais to slack-key guitar at sunset. It’s slurping juicy papayas with hibiscus flowers in your hair; it’s Pacific Rim cuisine, fiery volcanoes and cavorting whales. And from fiery Hawaii to Vancouver’s snow-capped peaks, this cool chic city is the perfect end to this exotic getaway.

Included Tour HIGHLIGHTS Pearl Harbour & Arizona Experience Tour Step back into the Island history as you are taken on an early morning tour that includes reliving the fateful morning of December 7, 1941. See rare footage of the attack on Pearl Harbour and visit the Arizona Memorial Museum built in honour of those who gave their lives that day. Then you’ll embark on a short shuttle boat ride to the Arizona Memorial itself. After returning to the Pearl Harbour landing, you’ll set out on a scenic city tour of Central Oahu that includes Punchbowl Crater and the National Memorial of the Pacific. You’ll discover a world of contrast as you tour Honolulu’s bustling Downtown area and historic Chinatown right next door. Cruise past Iolani Palace and the famous King Kamehameha statue, seen in many episodes of Hawaii 5-0. Honolulu City Hall and Kawaihao Hawaiian Church are also included on this great half-day tour of Oahu.

Vancouver Harbour Tour Gateway to the Pacific, experience the beauty and grandeur of Vancouver’s harbour on board the city’s only authentic paddle wheeler, the M.P.V. Constitution. On board, stroll along the outer decks or relax inside and view one of the most beautiful harbours in the world, while our lively narrated tour takes you up close to many of Vancouver’s most famous landmarks.
