A welcome
like no other Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2 are truly remarkable. Their elegant lines capture exactly what a classic ocean liner should look like. No wonder the spotlight often falls upon them in overseas ports. Their very arrival and departure creates excitement. It’s something you’ll especially appreciate once on board. Standing on deck and waving farewell, you can hear chatter filled with anticipation. That’s how all Cunard holidays start, on every ship. Here’s a quick introduction to each Queen and where she’ll be between January 2014 and early January 2015. QUEEN ELIZABETH is wonderfully modern, with beautiful Art Deco detailing. In January 2014, she starts a 118-night circumnavigation visiting 40 ports in 23 countries, which includes her first ever visit to Japan. Returning in May 2014, she then embarks on a new full season of Mediterranean Cruises, stretching right to the beginning of December. This offers the perfect combination of the very best Mediterranean destinations with an incredible choice of seven, 14 and 21 night holidays, before two short cruises and an Atlantic Isles festive season. QUEEN VICTORIA is graceful and luxurious, today’s version of great liners past. In January 2014, she seeks out the sights – and winter sunshine – of South America, Australia, Pacific islands and North America
on her World Voyage. During 2014, a series of no-fly cruises explores Baltic shores, Norway’s fjords, Iceland, the Mediterranean and Iberia and the Canary Islands – where she spends Christmas before a five-night New Year celebration closer to home. QUEEN MARY 2 is our flagship, grander than any other Cunard liner, where innovation and style sit side by side. She starts 2014 – her 10th anniversary year – in some style, circling the continents on her latest World Voyage, returning to a rendezvous with both sisters for one of the very few times in history on 9 May 2014. From May to January 2015, she crosses the Atlantic 19 times, some with calls to Halifax, just as she – and Cunard – always has done. Northern Europe, North America and the Caribbean will also welcome her next year.
You may wonder why our three ships are so special. Like all sisters, they have their own unique personality – and possess strong family traits, including the famous red and black funnel, a symbol that hints at the elegance on board.

Your elegant retreat
on the high seas Welcome to the third Cunard ship named Queen Elizabeth. Modern and spacious, she has everything you’d wish for from a ship that travels both across to the Continent and around the entire world. She’s designed for entertainment. From the sanctuary of her 6,000-book library to the show-stopping Royal Court Theatre, where her new show, Palladium Nights, showcases the songs of the Sixties and Seventies. She’s sociable too. The intimate, lively Yacht Club may become a firm favourite among her evening venues, although there are always plenty to choose from.
Games Deck
Should your cruise carry you into warmer seas, the outdoors comes to the fore. The Promenade Deck is as perfect for a stroll as its name suggests, and a superb spot to sit and watch the scenery drift by. Queen Elizabeth is a remarkably sociable ship. It’s always good to mingle in her elegant public rooms and outdoor spaces, such as her innovative Games Deck shaded beneath a canopy and with a garden-like feel, its ‘lawn’ always ready for a game of croquet or paddle tennis. And you could think of the Garden Lounge as your conservatory. Though in this conservatory, beside the Pavilion Pool, live bands play from time to time creating a perfect setting for those social evening occasions.
Besides the three main restaurants, you can always choose to dine ‘out’ on Queen Elizabeth. This may mean lunch or dinner at the Verandah Restaurant (recognised as the best restaurant at sea) for a delicious taste of France. Among other options, our Lido Restaurants offer buffet dining all day, with additional alternative dining options each evening. Asado is a sizzling South American grill. Jasmine has menus drawn from across Asia. Aztec adds its own twist to Mexican classics. It’s a delicious decision to make.

Your luxurious window
on the world Queen Victoria is exactly what a Cunard ship should be. Sleek and contemporary, her red and black exterior adds a classic touch. Inside is all about warmth and luxury. Marbles and woods create elegance, plush carpets and fabrics ensure premium comfort. Privacy and intimacy live side by side with the sense of occasion you might expect of a Cunard cruise. The Queens Room is an excellent example. At first glance, the dramatic chandeliers and arced balconies catch the attention. A closer look will reveal three original etchings by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. And it’s this combination of grandeur and detail that really enhances the luxury. You’ll find it too in the Royal Court Theatre. Rising the height of three decks in reds and gold, this is an already incredible venue. The first ever private boxes at sea add an extra dash of glamour to each dazzling show. Queen Victoria has an elegant, easy-going charm. She is designed for your enjoyment with all the amenities you would expect, and some that are more surprising, like fencing lessons.
You may also love her Winter Garden. All light and relaxation, it’s a fusion of indoors and outdoors, especially when the glass roof opens on sunnier days. Exploring the many dining options is also a daily treat. Perhaps it’ll be in our fine dining alternative restaurant, with its fresh Mediterranean dishes and themed events that feature local wines. Part of the Lido transforms each evening into one of three wonderful venues. Bamboo offers a fusion of Asian flavours. Coriander serves mouthwatering Indian cuisine. Prime is the spot for succulent steaks and seafood. Needless to say, a host of other casual options are available too during each waking moment on board.

Celebrating her 10th Anniversary year in 2014, Queen Mary 2 still stands apart for the incredible variety of entertainment you’ll find on board. Grand and spacious, she is an extraordinary ship where you’ll feel perfectly at home. Of course, the real way to experience this first lady of the fleet is to travel on board. Her size translates into an impressive feeling of space. The Queens Room, a hive of sociable activity day and night, fills the height of two decks. Sweeping staircases and soaring columns ensures the Britannia Restaurant makes a bold statement. The Royal Court Theatre also has two tiers, with a rich interior reminiscent of a London playhouse. Illuminations is more than a luxurious cinema. It’s also a planetarium and a venue for classical music lovers to watch virtuoso performances. For the ultimate in relaxation, succumb to the exquisite pampering with our exceptionally spacious Canyon Ranch SpaClub®.
Many lounges and bars – like the Commodore Club and Chart Room – are cosy and intimate, ideal for a catch-up with friends. Your table is always reserved in your main restaurant. For a change of culinary scene, there’s Todd English Restaurant, a vibrant taste of the Mediterranean. By evening, Kings Court transforms and becomes one of four alternative dining venues. La Piazza serves delicious Italian dishes. The Carvery offers a selection of traditional British dishes. Lotus combines subtle flavours from across Asia. Chef’s Galley has a unique twist, as it includes lively cooking demonstrations. With more informal options also available, like the Golden Lion Pub and the Boardwalk Café, our flagship will always satisfy your taste for the exceptional.

Daytime activities, from the
energetic to the relaxed On our ships, no two days are ever quite the same. That’s down to the huge number of activities on offer. These allow you to decide how any given hour will unfold – enriching, strenuous or seriously pampered. Of course, you don’t have to do anything.
Daytime Activities - All Ships Art Classes Board Games Bridge
Aerobics, yoga or sunrise stretch classes on deck are just some excuses to take in the morning air. Later, tango and line dancing classes are energetic and fun. The daily crossword sharpens the mind. You may drop by the wine-tasting seminar in the afternoon, while the secrets of auctioneering or weather forecasting are revealed during today’s Cunard’s Insights workshops. Some activities you’ll only find on certain ships. Like Queen Elizabeth’s unique art tour or her panel quiz shows, specially written during your voyage. Fencing lessons provide a chance to try something new on Queen Victoria or the Nordic Walking poles on Queen Elizabeth offer a sociable occasion for exercise.
QUEEN MARY 2 offers 3D film screenings that include the latest blockbusters and operatic masterpieces.
Clarendon Fine Art
If today is about taking it easy, the blissful spa can indulge you with its menu of massages and uplifting treatments. You’ll never be short of holiday reading either. The impressive library sees to that, and the Book Club is meeting later for an informal chat over a cappuccino. In warm weather, the spacious open deck is always inviting – maybe for a dip in the outdoor pool before tea. The shuffleboard tournament is also starting soon. The best part is that, having done so much (or so wonderfully little) throughout the day, a glittering evening still lies ahead.

Evenings are when the famous Cunard glamour really shines. After a busy afternoon’s exploration ashore, you’re invited to a Sailaway Party. Or, when your day on board draws to a close, there’s plenty of time for a pre-dinner drink. Maybe the Martini menu will catch your eye in your favourite bar.
Cabaret and Music Productions Comedians Concerts and Recitals Empire Casino Film Screenings Gentlemen Dance Hosts Karaoke – Golden Lion Pub Late Evening Quizzes Nightclub Theatre Productions
Later, recitals on the harp or the piano create a soothing mood, part of an extensive calendar of classical concerts. Or mellow jazz might be more your scene. Some nights, the comedian brings laughter to the bill; on others the magician will amaze you. The Royal Court Theatre is always the backdrop to pure drama. In these lavish venues, thrilling musical extravaganzas and abridged versions of classic plays light up the stage. Private boxes on Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth allow you to reserve the best seats in the house. You can even sip your interval drink in the reserved lounge.
Over in the traditional Golden Lion pub, the spotlight might switch to you, as you interpret a track or two during a lively karaoke event. Afterwards, how about some late night trivia or a spin of the roulette wheel in the casino? You may, of course, be in the mood for dancing. Tonight the atmospheric nightclub could be playing anything from rock anthems to the hits of the 1970s right through to today’s modern sounds. Our black tie evenings remain a highlight of every cruise, with themes ranging from Starlight Balls to ‘London Swings’, a celebration of 1960s styles set within the double height Queens Room.
