As well, read about the geology and the different wildlife you could see. You will enjoy it so much more when you understand what you are experiencing around you.

Q: What should I know about climate change?

A: Watch Frozen Planet before your trip to learn about the region and see our checklist online for specifics on what to pack. Study the effects of climate change on Antarctica from reputable scientific sources. This will outline what we should do to help preserve these regions for generations to come.

Q: Any last-minute advice?

A: Yes! Bring an extra pair of warm socks!
