REDEFINING U.S. CRUISING Announcing our Brand New Eagle Class

American Cruise Lines is very pleased to announce our brand new Eagle Class of small cruise ships for the 2023 season. At a capacity of just 109 guests, these ships and their corresponding itineraries will blend the best qualities of expedition adventure cruising with the refinement, luxury, and land proximity of river cruising. Each new ship will feature modern décor and 56 spacious staterooms, most with private balconies. Observation and sitting areas will be available at the bow. A unique swim/activity platform on the stern of the ship features kayaks and a tender for local exploration. The shallow draft of the vessels allows rare access into small ports and ability to travel on almost any river or waterway. With land never out of sight, these cruiser ships are a practical alternative to ocean expeditions, providing more time to explore each port. The first of 12 planned ships, American Eagle and American Glory, will debut along the East Coast. Studio DADO, the Miami based firm responsible for the interior designs of our newest American riverboats, will be back to tailor an onboard atmosphere that evokes a sense of pride and appreciation for U.S. history. The choice of color palettes, furnishings, and art work will reflect the culture of New England and the Southeast.

10

REDESIGNED PADDLEWHEELERS New Look, Same Amazing Itineraries

This cruising season, we are excited to welcome guests aboard our newly redesigned paddlewheeler fleet. Enjoy perfect comfort and the most modern amenities as you bask in the romance and nostalgia of classic paddlewheeler travel. From the staterooms and suites to the lounges and dining rooms, each paddlewheeler has been completely made-over with new color palettes, luxurious textiles and linens, new furniture and carpets, and artwork and flourishes, celebrating the regions we visit. Mississippi paddlewheelers, American Splendor and American Heritage, will continue to pay homage to the Mighty River, reflecting its historical, cultural, musical, and literary influences, in the interior décor and finishing touches. Columbia & Snake River paddlewheelers, American Pride and American West, will be redesigned to feature Western and Native American inspired themes, including influences from the region’s celebrated Lewis and Clark Expedition. Cape Codder

Did You Know? FUN FACT Cape Cod is a one-of-a-kind destination, abounding in scenic beauty and rich history. Not only does it boast more lighthouses than any other county in the United States, but it is also home to one of the largest historic districts in the country, where you will find America’s oldest library, as well as buildings that date back to the 1600s. As it was a favorite vacation spot for President John F. Kennedy, he co-sponsored the legislation that established the Cape Cod National Seashore, now protected and maintained by the U.S. National Park Service. This natural treasure includes forty miles of pristine sandy beaches, marshes, ponds, and highlands which support a diversity of species.
