"Queen of the Seas"

for highest demands with exclusive sailing adventures. In 2021, the SEA CLOUD SPIRIT enters service. She

conveys the same spirit and offers even more amenities to the discerning traveler: Staterooms with private balconies, a wellness and spa area, ocean-view fi tness, a spacious sun

deck, and an alternate dining option on the lido deck. What began in 1931 with the dream of a millionaire couple and fascinated people then, still continues and will create unforgettable memories to many travelers.

Small, fine and uniquely different

Bigger, larger, farther – we happily leave that to others. The SEA CLOUDs follow a course of their own. Each of our sailing cruises provides a unique holiday experience: For people like yourself, who value individuality and love the personal touch. Come on board and give the adventure of slowing down a try!

Setting the sails by hand

On the three windjammers, the sails are still traditionally hoisted by hand – a tough job every time. Deftly, the sailors climb into the shrouds, release the heavy cloth, then vigorously tighten the ropes down on deck. There are no buttons that can simply be pressed: It takes almost a full hour until all sails catch the wind.

“Our ships never fail to inspire me, even after so many years on board. It is quite fascinating what great options these little yachts offer.”

Kathryn Whittaker, Captain SEA CLOUD II

Isn’t it fascinating that a millennia-old technique like sailing seems so up to date again today? Rather than fighting against it with engine power, we

put the wind to good use – proving that great experiences and a positive

environmental balance do not contradict each other.

The wind and the sea: right up close to the elements

The scent of salt in your nose, the sound of

the waves in your head, and on your skin the touch of the wind that gets caught in the huge

sailcloth above: On board a SEA CLOUD, you experience the elements firsthand. Here, the

sea is always almost within your reach – not a

dozen decks away!

Sailing whenever possible

How could it be otherwise with three wind-hungry tall ships: The real sailing experience is clearly the focus of all our trips. That’s why we plan our itineraries from

the start so that the SEA CLOUDs will have ideal wind

conditions. After all, each day we want to spend at least half a day sailing.

The wind always has the last word

Entrusting yourself to the power of the elements

is both exciting and relaxing. Sailing takes time:

Sometimes, we deliberately reduce our speed so that the crew can climb the masts. And if a

calm threatens, the captain will spontaneously

change the route – there’s no arguing with

the wind.

As intimate as a private yacht

Less orchestration, more character: With paramount courteousness and consideration, the crew creates a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and yet provides impeccable service. In the small group of at most 136 guests, you are bound to enjoy the true private-yacht atmosphere on board.

Arrive, unwind, savor: the perfect break from the daily grind

From the tingling anticipation while filling your suitcase to the moment when you catch the first glimpse of your ship’s masts in the harbor – already the joyful anticipation this one-of-a-kind holiday is invaluable. Our windjammers are havens of tranquility in today’s hectic and stressful life. Leave all that behind – and enjoy utter deceleration on either of the SEA CLOUDs.

Just like visiting close friends

Whether looking out over the railings at

sunrise or watching the sun set at the bar –

in no time at all, you are bound to get talking to like-minded sailing aficionados from all

over the world. The mutual experiences on

board unite: Within just days under sail, everyone feels part of the SEA CLOUD family.

“Here, everyone soon finds their favorite spot: at the bar; in one of the comfy deck chairs; in the blue lagoon with a view of the sea and the sails; or on the bridge with an early-morning coffee.”

Vicente Roldan („Bebot“) Barkeeper on the SEA CLOUD

True seafaring passion

Many of our crew members have been loyal to the SEA CLOUDs for 30 years and more. For these men and women, the windjammers are much more than just a place of work – they call them their home. And that you can sense: Also as a guest, you will feel instantly at home on board.

A well-attuned team

For many crew members, working on “their” SEA CLOUD is like a dream come true.

Whether in the engine room, on the bridge or in the restaurant – thanks to the passion for their job, they are completely in sync as a team. And as your proud hosts, they

convey their enthusiasm in everything they do.

Personable and faceto-face. Every day begins with a smile: On our SEA CLOUDs an incomparably stylish, warm service and a family atmosphere awaits you.

Our pleasure: spoiling you

With creativity and on the highest level, our chefs bring ever new, exclusive culinary delights to the table. And they like to complement their elaborate menus with local products or fresh fish. The wine selection reflects the routes and never fails to impress with fine wines from the various regions.

Culinary highlights for gourmets

The cuisine on the SEA CLOUDs is innovative and varied, catering to your personal needs and combining classic, modern and maritime elements. At all times, our chefs complement this with regional specialties – whether in the elegant evening menus or the generous lunchtime buffets.

Relax and enjoy

With the small number of guests on board, there is just a single sitting for every meal. Seating arrangements are not fixed. Our maître d’ will be happy to help you find your place in the restaurant. The dress code for the evening? Stylishly casual – for the Captain’s Dinner, you may opt for something a little

more elegant.

“We enjoy our shopping excursions to small markets and selected retailers in search of local specialties – and then pampering the palate of our guests with these delicacies.”

Ronny Schenk, Chef de Cuisine

Many extras included

A glass of champagne at embarkation, the

SEA CLOUD chocolate on your pillow ... such little

details turn your cruise into something truly special. Lots of extras are already included in the price: soft drinks, water and coffee specialties; during lunch

and dinner also beer and selected wines chosen

by the sommelier.

Sailing programs with diversity

How intensive you want your windjammer experience to be, much depends on individual taste. This is why we propose cruises with varying focus to you, from short breaks to themed cruises with exciting onshore excursions – and, of course, the ultimate sailing adventure: the Atlantic crossing.

Small ships, more possibilities

Our cruises offer you a well-balanced mix of real sailing experience and exciting discoveries ashore. Our advantage as a “private yacht”: Besides well-known and -loved destinations, we

mostly call at smaller, more individual ports, far off the commonly trodden path of

tourists.

Special themes, exclusive events

Some of our cruises have a particular focus; others propose exclusive events. During these sailing

trips, you will gain unique insights – attending a private concert at a museum or in an impressive opera house; as a guest on a privately-owned finca; while watching the Bucket Regatta in St Barths or the classic regatta “Les Voiles de St Tropez” off the Côte d’Azur. Truly special highlights are also the annual “Sailing Together” cruises when our windjammers sail side by side in varying pairings.
