The Lindblad-National Geographic Di erence

The Lindblad-National Geographic Difference

Lindblad Expeditions is the pioneer of modern expedition travel, with unparalleled experience guiding inquisitive travellers to the world’s wildest and most remote destinations. Come aboard and experience the di erence of travelling with us.

The Ultimate Expedition Fleet

The nimble and compact vessels in the Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic fleet were designed to take travellers to the world’s most secluded spaces, inviting exploration in spots far beyond the docks where tourists congregate. Our ships are outfitted with kayaks, paddleboards, and Zodiacs for up-close exploration at water level, while cutting-edge tools like hydrophones and SplashCams encourage further discovery on board the ship.

An Unparalleled Experience Onboard

Being in the wild doesn’t have to mean renouncing first-rate amenities, superb food, or supreme comfort. Beautifully appointed cabins, suites, and common areas reflect the sights, sounds, and artistic traditions of your destination, and meals feature local cuisines and sustainable ingredients sourced directly from nearby lands and waters. Our wellness program has also been developed to connect you more deeply with your surroundings, whether you choose to greet the day with a yoga class on deck or unwind with a massage in the spa.

A Veteran Team

Every member of our crew—from our naturalists, photographers, and expedition leaders to our sta working behind the scenes—is committed to ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience. Many are veteran guides who have worked with us for

decades, chosen for their extensive knowledge of subjects like geology, wildlife biology, and history. They give rich context to the cultures and landscapes we encounter ashore and are also keen-eyed spotters who maximise opportunities to observe each region’s incredible flora and fauna.

Actively Explore Every Day

Our itineraries feature a range of activities designed to immerse you in your destination. Kayak through a maze of icebergs in Patagonia’s Glacier Alley, hike beneath a smouldering volcanic cone in Costa Rica, or ride a Zodiac into an ancient Scottish sea cave. No matter the destination, you will be able to explore your way—and at your own pace—each day. Activities are always included in the price of your voyage.

Exclusive Undersea Program

Whether you’re sailing the turquoise seas of French Polynesia or plying the ice-packed waters of the Arctic, our exclusive undersea program reveals the wonders hidden beneath the waves. Each voyage features an undersea specialist who dons diving gear or deploys a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) to document the marine environment, feeding live footage to the ship lounge so you can glimpse fascinating sea creatures and their oceanic habitats.

Developing Young Explorers

The National Geographic Global Explorers Program is an exclusive educational adventure for guests under 18 years of age. This hands-on, interactive program uses the natural world as a classroom in the Galápagos, Alaska, Baja California, and Antarctica. Onboard field educators teach kids to explore like scientists through engaging activities, from learning to identify whale flukes to catching plankton and examining it under a microscope, and young explorers also have the opportunity to get a Zodiac driver’s licence.
