Our expedition ship. Welcome on board!

The WORLD VOYAGER combines the needs of discerning guests in a very unique way: a manageable number of passengers and a bright, tasteful interior leaves nothing to be desired. You will not find any other comparable ship of this size on the market offering such good value for money. The WORLD VOYAGER is designed to meet high expectations and has been lovingly designed down to the finest detail. The personal atmosphere on board is key to the sense of well-being, while our excursions guarantee you unforgettable experiences.

A ship that can do everything

The unique feature of the WORLD VOYAGER is its small size. State-of-the-art technology ensures that our ship has been built according to the latest technological standards. It benefits from ice class 1B and polar class C, so it can safely navigate all the oceans. With a length of only 126 metres, though, it can navigate ports that are inaccessible for the “big ones”. The space miracle unfolds on board in the comfortable cabins and suites between 17 and 44 m², the observation lounge with a spectacular panoramic view or the spacious on-board restaurant.

Ultimate feel-good factor, personal atmosphere

Our total of 109 crew members have only one goal: to make you feel comfortable! The exceptionally small number of guests exudes a personal atmosphere and a relaxed feeling from the moment you step on board. No hustle and bustle during shore excursions, no queues at the buffet, no scramble on the sun deck for the best view. After a day full of experiences you can relax in the spa if you fancy it. Or you can enjoy the sunset on the horizon from your personal veranda.

Preserving the wondrous world – with state-of-the-art technology

We want to protect what we value: sustainable travel is important so future generations can enjoy the wonders of the earth in all their beauty. Extra passion was put into planning the WORLD VOYAGER as well as investing several years of research and development. As well as focussing on its guests, the company also invested in state-of-the-art engine technology featuring the environmentally friendly diesel-electric hybrid drive from Rolls-Royce. Low-sulphur MGO (marine gas oil) is used as fuel, generating 70-85% less sulphur oxide than heavy oil. In calm bodies of water, your small ship glides along powered only by its electric motor, almost silently and with extremely low emissions. The exhaust gas treatment by an SCR catalytic converter also contributes to this (selective catalytic reduction), reducing nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 95%.

The ship also has a dynamic positioning system, which allows it to stay in one place without needing to drop anchor – to protect fragile ocean-floor ecosystems on the seabed. In addition to the various measures to prevent waste, the modern waste treatment on board – the so-called Micro Auto Gasification System – is also worth a mention. This patented waste incineration technology saves energy, is low-emission and leaves behind biochar as a by-product.
