Start out your journey around the world by exploring one of the world’s most exciting cities: Lisbon! After a good night’s sleep at the hotel and a delicious breakfast it’s time for an interesting city tour. You can spend the afternoon doing whatever you like. Travel back in time at Burg Castelo de São Jorge.

Shop in the fascinating Alfama district. Take the elevator from Baixa up to Santa Justa and hop onto the legendary route 28 tram for a few stations at least. And do not forget to try a Pastel de Belém, a heavenly Portuguese custard tart! Stellenbosch wine country · South Africa

How long would you like to continue your exciting journey along the west coast of Africa? You have the choice of two equally attractive post-cruise programmes! One extends your trip by three days so that you can spend time with us in the Stellenbosch wine region and learn about the wines, land and people.

The other extends your trip by four days and includes two unforgettable days at the Botlierskop Game Reserve! Four of the Big Five can be found here: lion, buffalo, rhino and elephant. And the chances of spotting them are good with a total of four safaris. Your accommodation is a luxury tented suite with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area and an unobstructed vista of the stunning starry South African sky! On the third day you will have plenty of time to experience Cape Town with all your senses before setting off back home on day four.

Your cruise is a feast for all the senses, so what could be better than giving those senses a few shore-side treats before you set sail? We will take you to see the Stellenbosch wine region. It is South Africa’s most well-known wine region and famous the whole world over for its excellent red wines. The French Huguenots were the first people to plant vines here in the 1690s. Since then, the region has seen many changes! One of its modern-day specialities is a Bordeaux blend created from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. A whole day and a half-day excursion offer you plenty of time to learn about the region’s wine-making history, meet the people who keep the traditions alive and sample some of the best wines it has to offer. POST-CRUISE PROGRAMME MAURITIUS: Get ready for sun, beaches and more!

Mauritius is one of the most beautiful places on earth, so why not extend your stay! Our post-cruise programme gives you two additional days to spend doing whatever makes you happy on the beach and in the water. We will take care of your transfers and accommodation. All you have to do is decide whether you would like to swim, snorkel, dive or simply chill on the beach. Look forward to white sands, crystal clear water and a ring-shaped coral reef that encircles the island. It is directly accessible from some beaches, and a little more difficult from others. In all of the waters surrounding the island you will see colourful fish and sometimes even rays and sharks at close proximity. We recommend the west coast for diving: the government has deliberately scuttled wrecks there to create artificial reefs that protect the marine life. Wreck diving is the perfect unforgettable experience to end your journey with!
