ugust 15th, the Feast of Our Lady’s Assumption, was a should address adwarm yet windy day in Little Rock, A.R. Pennsylvania versity in the A native Louis Ferraz stood at the state capitol building with world today: with approximately 300 other Catholics in protest against Satanists who wished to erect a nine-foot-tall statue of the occult deity, Baphomet, the next day. “We build monuments to people who are great, or who have done good deeds.” Louis said, “Why would someone want to build a statue of a devil?” Newly 18, Louis traveled from the small town of Drums, P.A., to fight in the spiritual battle. A short, three-day trip, where most of his time was spent in commute, Louis said the difficulties of flying some thousand miles to spend just one day on land defending God were completely worth it. “I came this far to fight against Satan,” Louis said, “As a Catholic, defending Our Lord is a priority, regardless of how inconvenient that may be.” Louis is a wonderful example of how we as Catholics
confidence in Our Lady as our shield and Her Rosary as our sword, defying those who would silence our revolt against evil. “If we allow the devil to become too prominent and ignore the havoc he wreaks on our world out of convenience,” Louis said, “we will never fulfill our true purpose: to be united with God in heaven.” Louis participated in a major crusade to stop the acceptance of public Satan worship in our nation. This crusade was fired by participants young and old, indignant and outraged at the blatant display of disrespect against God and religion. These rosary warriors stood proud with the knowledge that their vocal rebellion against evil acted as Our Lady’s heel on the head of yet another serpent. Louis prayed and pushed back against Satan, which is something desperately needed in America. He shows us how easy it is to fulfill our rolls as Catholics and rise to defend our God and our beliefs: if young Louis can do it, so can you!

n the most eastern region of Cuba lies Birán, the birthplace of the infamous Fidel Castro. However, Birán is also home to a pious friend of Our Lady called Evita. On October 13, 2018, 78-year-old Evita bravely held a Public Square Rosary Rally on the government-controlled Caribbean island. Using the materials sent by veteran Florida Rally Captain Sergio DePaz, Evita inspired a total of 17 Public Square Rosary Rallies from one end of the island to the other. Evita nicknamed the momentous and holy movement “The Atomic Bomb.” “The most powerful bomb in the world is the atomic bomb,” Evita said. “These Rosary Rallies were the atomic bomb for Cuba – a powerful explosion of prayer.” Over 200 people in total attended Rosary Rallies in Cuba – what a significant gift to Our Lady from a country dominated by communism! The “Atomic Bomb” included rallies in Mayari, where 52 people attended, Sierbas de Maria Vedado, where 56 people attended, and Villanels Pinar de Rio, where 43 people attended.
These Catholics prayed in unison with a staggering 23,018 Public Square Rosary Rallies held in the U.S. and around the globe on October 13, 2018. “The Public Rosaries opened to us, the people of Cuba, a new flood of hope,” Evita said. “Thank you, thank you, thank you, America Needs Fatima, for giving me the opportunity to do this! And thank you to Our Lady, Virgen del Cobre, the patron of Cuba, for allowing this to happen!” With the grace of Our Lady, these valiant Cubans battled against a communist regime in the form of public reparation, bravely offering their prayers for the salvation of the world. Even in the face of adversity, with God, anything is possible!

ome years ago during late October, José was visiting his local mall in Hazleton, P.A. As he walked past the well-known costume store, The Spirit of Halloween, he saw a sordid, blasphemous costume in the front window that mocked our Holy Mother Church. “I was shocked to see the costume – and so blatantly on display!” José said. “I knew something had to be done to get it removed.” Armed with the confidence of a veteran warrior of Our Lady, he marched into the store and asked to speak with manager. “As a Catholic and father of seven children, I ask you to remove this blasphemous and immoral costume from the window, and stop selling it in the store,” José said. “It’s freedom of speech,” the manager said, “there’s nothing I can do – the costume stays!” This lackadaisical response only encouraged José to combat the blasphemy with more gusto. He asked to speak with someone higher in the chain of command, and was given the phone number of the District Manager. “The next day, I called the District Manager and told him that I, too, had freedom of speech, and that I would contribute an article to the local paper complaining about the costume,” José said, “and that I would protest outside their store until it was removed. Terrible blasphemes like this is what will destroy the innocence of our children!” A few hours later, José received a call from an unknown number. To his surprise, it was a lawyer from the Halloween store! The lawyer said they would agree to remove the costume, as long as there would be no protests. “Even though I was completely prepared to publically defend my faith with a
peaceful protest, I was glad this was resolved quickly,” José said. Particularly around Halloween, a season that is riddled with blatant displays of sacrilege, it’s easy to accept blasphemy that surrounds us in today’s world in order to remain silent, and remain comfortable. As Catholics, we have a holy duty to respond to these bold-faced attacks on Our Lord and Our Lady, and should strive to prioritize our faith over our comfort. In José’s words, “When you have confidence in God, and respond when you are called to defend Him, you will persevere!”

he small town of Rossville, K.S., is home to one of Our Lady’s headquarters. Every year, friends of Amercia Needs Fatima from across America and around the world travel to the small Kansas town in order to work at Our Lady’s office. There, the volunteers strive to enlist Rally Captains for the annual October 13th Public Square Rosary Rallies via the recruitment hotline. This past October, 23,018 Public Square Rosary Rallies were held in the U.S. and around the globe! During this year’s Rally Captain recruitment period, a volunteer at the Rossville office connected with a doctor. The volunteer urged the doctor to become a Rally Captain, but despite her fervent appeal, the doctor declined the offer, insisting that she was far too busy to organize a rally.
Early the following morning, the very same volunteer received a phone call. It was the doctor! She explained to the volunteer that she had not been able to sleep all night, and believed that it was because she had refused to be a captain for Our Lady the previous day. The doctor told the volunteer that she realized she was viewing the Rosary Rallies in the wrong way. During her sleepless night, she found something in common with Our Lady: just as doctors heal with science, Our Lady heals the world in the form of public prayer! This realization inspired her to fight for Our Lady, and defend Our Blessed Mother and Her Son by holding a Public Square Rosary Rally. She could not refuse to help Our Lady in Her mission to heal the world!
