Here’s your ticket to SCCC/ATS Homecoming 2012 Starring in this premier special section are the 2012 Seward County Community College/Area Technical School homecoming candidates, brought to you in 3D by the Crusader newspaper staff. Each candidate was nominated by an activity or club around campus. The candidates were then voted upon by the student body, resulting in 10 final candidates, as chosen by SCCC/ATS students. This special section is a first for the Crusader, as this year it will
be presented in 3D for the first time ever in Crusader history. Some special equipment is required to view this section as it was intended, so grab a pair of 3D glasses, put the red to your right eye, and then start turning the pages. We’ve got more pizazz and better writing than a Michael Bay movie, so sit down and get ready to have your campus come to life within the pages of the Crusader.

Jena Eder
Oscar DonJuan is the homecoming candidate representing Phi Theta Kappa. This freshman is a pre-med major and plans to attend Wichita State University and pursue a career in chiropractics in the future. DonJuan is the son of Jose and Veronica DonJuan and is from Liberal. He is also involved in Concert Band, Student Government Association and cheerleading. DonJuan describes himself as “outgoing and loud.” His hidden talent is “cooking.”
Jena Eder is the homecoming candidate representing Block and Bridle. This sophomore is a agriculture major and plans to attend Kansas State University and major in kinesiology in the future. Eder is the daughter of Joel and Toni Eder and is from Sharon Springs, Kan. She is also involved in Phi Theta Kappa, Collegiate Farm Bureau and Livestock Judging. Eder sees herself as, “outgoing, crazy and spontaneous.” Her hidden talent is “NASCAR racing.”

Wills from Liberal. She is also involved in the Crusader and Phi Theta Kappa. Wills describes herself as “optimistic, hard-working and enthusiastic.” Her hidden talent is her ability to “make others smile.”

Benito Rivera Benito Rivera is the representative for Hispanic American Leadership Organization. He is the son of Benito and Maria Rivera of Liberal. Rivera is sophomore majoring in biology. Rivera participates in band. Rivera describes himself as being “energetic, outgoing, and optimistic.” Rivera hides his talents of “cooking and hustling” from others. Rivera’s future plans involve graduating from Seward County and transferring to Fort Hays State University. Ultimately, Rivera plans on becoming a neurologist and having his own clinic.

her talents is that she is able to do a cartwheel with no hands. Krueger describes herself as being “outgoing, determined and energetic.” In the future, Krueger will attend with nursing school and also continue with her cheerleading career.
