The 2004 Telolith is dedicated to the memory of Seward County Community College President Dr. James Grote. Dr. Brote cared deeply that students experience literature and art firsthand. His support for student artistic accomplishment established a Telolith ritual over the years. Every spring when stacks of the new Telolith first appeared around campus, before the end of the day we would always receive word from Dr. Grote offering his congratulations on the latest issue. We will miss his acknowledgement, his stamp of approval, this year - and in the years to come.
