What an Air Pump Is All About A pump is defined as a device primarily used to move fluids like liquids and gases. It displaces a volume of any kind by physical or mechanical means. It is divided into five groups depending on the methods used in moving fluid. It could be direct lift, displacement, velocity, gravity pumps or buoyancy. Whatever is the type of pumps you have it has a variety of industrial purposes to be thankful for. Air pumps on the other hand is operated using outside air. This air is now the heat sink or the heat source in the process. A compressor, a condenser as well as refrigerant system are used together with this pump to complete the set up. Extraction of airs from the source is done by the heat exchanger. A compressor works like that of a refrigerator but in opposite manner meaning instead of cooling the air, it raises the outside air's temperature. And to convey the air from the outside to the heating system, radiator and heating tubes are necessary. The process of heating and cooling is done by the refrigerant together with the pump's coils and components. The liquid state will turn into gaseous state with the work of a condenser, compressor and evaporator. The function of refrigerant is primarily as heaters or coolers for coils in the rooms. The temperature of the air outside will cause the liquid to start boiling while the liquid refrigerant will pass through the outdoor evaporator coils. To change liquid to gas, a tremendous amount of energy is needed where it can be obtained from the outside air that passes through the coils. Gas that was generated will be drawn into the compressor where it is compressed and this time the vapour's temperaturewill increased up to 100 degrees Celsius or higher. By compressing this further, the vapour's temperature also increases.
