DECEMBER EVENTS RECAP
December DCM & Holiday Social December 14th | 2-4 PM | Pan Pacific Park
“At the December DCM, I got to meet many new people. Some of which have many things in common with me, thanks to a game that revealed our hobbies and favorite things, etc. It was also very fun, as we played a variety of games that strengthened Crystal’s bond with each other. When we had the sugar-cookie decorating contest, I was surprised at the amount of effort and energy others put into their work. It goes to show that this club is filled with people who are enthusiastic and passionate about meeting and helping others out. Overall, I had a great time at the December DCM and I believe that other KIWIN’S members should attend it if they have the chance.” — Brian Thinsuwan, Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet HS KIWIN’S Member

DECEMBER EVENTS RECAP
Rose Float Decorating
December 28th | Irwindale, CA | 1:30 - 11:45 PM “I genuinely had fun during my time at the Rose Float Event! I was feeling quite scared going there because I was going there without my close friends, but I ended up having fun with my fellow Crystal Cuties, and even got closer with them. I left feeling so comfortable with my fellow Divisional pals, in fact, even with those from other Divisions! My little gang and I first carried flowers around to different areas. As we carried the flowers in an assembly line, we cracked a few jokes that made the job fun and made us forget about the strenuous work we were doing. Next, we helped put roses in viles so that they could be preserved till the Rose Bowl Parade. I was paired up with my friend, Irene, and 4 other people. I immediately started to click with these people through bundles of laughs and smiles. Even though we spent so many hours on this task, it went by so quick because of how much fun we were having. Furthermore, dinner was quite fun too as we all sat in the dark and ate our food together like a lovely family and chuckled over silly things. After that, we helped out with the Farmer's Insurance float and I got to bond well with one of my other Crystal pals! To summarize, I thoroughly enjoyed all of the tedious workload we had because I was with such amazing and friendly people. Even the bus ride back was hilarious, even though it was nearing midnight! Anyways, I’m now way more excited for any future KIWIN'S event.” — Humairah Djafar, Fairfax High School KIWIN’S Member
