Good afternoon, and welcome to Hayes Lane Bromley for our final home game of the season, against Watford.

T

oday see’s two different sides of the spectrum, we are looking to secure our best ever placing in what has been a remarkable league campaign to date. We have beat all kinds of records along the way. Watford on the other hand have one foot in the Championship after being dragged into a relegation fight with Coventry Utd. With the points up for grabs, today will be a hard game full of ups and downs but one we feel as a group of players and staff can hopefully overcome to stay in the hunt for a top four finish. Standing in our way will be a resilient Watford team with a few players that used to wear the Palace badge. Looking back on the season going into the last couple of games I’d just like to say how proud I am of all the players and staff for what we have achieved this season. I can say the levels of commitment the players and staff have shown

going into the last couple of games I’d just like to say how proud I am of all the players and staff for what we have achieved this season

along with Paula Johnson (General Manager) and Chris Phillips (Director of Football) working behind the scenes has been nothing short of heroic. Who’d have thought with two games to go we’d be in the top four potentially looking at a top three finish!! It’s been an unbelievable effort and one the whole club should be very proud of. Lastly, along with the players and staff a massive appreciation must go out to every single palace supporter that has stepped through the Bromley turnstiles to support us. You have been our 12th man and helped us be the team we are today!! So, from me, my staff and the players thank you so much it means so much to know your behind what this club is trying to achieve and hope to see you all back for more next season! South London & Proud! Dean

Welcome back everyone to Hayes Lane for the final home game of the season. I can’t thank you all enough for your continuous support both at games and online this season.

T

he support the girls receive from the fans, home and away, is always felt and helps gives us that extra advantage going into every game. Coming to the end of the season is always a surreal feeling after all the hours of dedication put in by everyone. I’m always proud to captain this club and this season has been extra special. We’ve broke goal scoring records, point records, win records and I’m sure there is more! I want to thank everyone involved in the club from players to staff and volunteers who have all gone that extra mile to help us with our achievements this season. This club has made great strides every year I’ve been here and I’m excited to see how the club is going to progress next season, which I’m sure all the supporters will be a huge part of. Take Care. atford are back in the FA Women’s Championship this season, having earned promotion based on their application and impressive on field results in the FA Women’s National League. The Hornets have plenty of history in the second tier, having been victorious in a regionalised division in 2006/07, while finishing second in 2012/13. The latter was a big factor in Watford being one of the founding clubs of the inaugural WSL 2 (now the Championship) in 2014. While the Golden Girls would struggle to replicate previous successes, there were still several positive moments. Most noticeably was the first ever game at Vicarage Road (Aston Villa in 2015) – 1,102 turned up to that match, which was the second highest attendance in the league at the time. With another shake-up of the women’s football pyramid taking place in 2018. Watford’s spell in WSL 2 came to an end when they were not granted a Championship license for the following season. Watford have bounced back from that disappointment and things are now looking far more positive in Hertfordshire. Currently lead by Amber Wildgust (General Manager) and Laura Dyer + Armand Kavaja (Joint Head Coach), the staff and players will be looking to establish the club at this level.
