Construction: A ground pool will add to the value of your home in a way that no above ground pool can match. If you want to install an in ground pool, you can choose from vinyl liner, fiberglass or concrete pools. The concrete pool is made of water, sand, cement, and gravel or stone. The pool is framed with steel reinforcements that allow the structure to bend enough to withstand the forces of gravity and water.

Advantages: Customisable: One of the big advantages of a Concrete pool is that it is highly customisable. Concrete pools give you the ability to customise the size, shape, or any other features you may be looking for. Durable: Concrete pools are the most durable types of pools. You won't have to worry about damaging the structure as you would with a vinyl liner pool. Pretty: A concrete pool is beautiful. If you ever decide to sell your house, your pool will be a major selling point and will increase the market value.

Disadvantages: Installation: Installation of a pool process is complex and timeconsuming. A fiberglass or vinyl liner pool takes a few weeks to complete but concrete pools require 3-6 months to install. High maintenance: The costs and maintenance are higher for concrete pools. In fact, concrete pool builders recommend brushing the entire surface of the pool with a steel brush at least once a week to remove any algae that are on the surface. Refinishing: You can always hire a professional pool maintenance company to clean it. Refinishing the plaster must be done every ten to fifteen years.
