CAMP ADVENTURE Our full day camp, “Camp Adventure” is a great way for your child to have fun and meet new friends this summer! Your child will experience camp with peers of the same age group where they will discover a variety of activities - they are certain to have a great experience at Camp Adventure this year! Camp Adventure fills up fast and in previous years, several weeks have sold out, so you’ll want to get your child registered soon so they don’t miss out. Every week will be packed with adventure, excitement and surprises. Each week we will either bring the fun to the kids, or go on a field trip. We have scheduled many experts in their field to come offer your child a memorable summer camp experience!

We allow 5 year olds in our day camp as long as they have completed kindergarten. No exceptions.
FEES $135/wk for Weeks 2-5, 7-10
$108/wk for Weeks 1 & 6 Includes all administration fees, all on-site activities, field trips, YMCA Swim Days and Before & After Care. A $1 per minute late fee will apply if pick-up is after 6pm. All registrations are for the full camp week (5 day or 4 day weeks); no single day signups.

EXTEND THE CAMP DAY! Make your half-day specialty camp a full day by adding Camp Wrap Around to your child's camp week. Your child can go to a spccialty camp (morning or afternoon), and participate in Camp Adventure for the remainder of the camp day. Specialty Camps JIMMY THE BAT Baseball CAMP
With a fun and positive environment, your child will learn all basic facets of America's pastime, with an emphasis on proper fundamentals, teamwork & sportsmanship. All campers will be placed on a team and a camp baseball tournament will be played weekly. Each session will be capped at 70 campers so players can get the most from each week. Coach Felce played with the Atlanta Braves, in college at USF and has many years of coaching experience at all levels. Your child will learn from a professional! Multi-Sports Camp At this camp, Kids, Sports and F-U-N all come together. If you are looking for a camp experience with endless variety, you have found it. Your child will learn and play timeless games such as Kickball, Wiffleball, Capture the Flag and Dodge Ball, as well as learn new games like Ga Ga Ball and 9 Square in the Air. One day of our camp week will be a water themed day complete with a water slide, balloon battles and fun water relay games. Ages: 6-15 Fees: $120/wk Camp Instructor: Coach J.J. Grace

Dodgeball CAMP Campers will focus on the fun of the sport, rather than competitiveness. They'll work on developing skills like throwing, catching and teamwork and put those skills into action while playing in one of our patented mobile dodgeball arenas. Campers will get an opportunity each week to practice their concentration on the archery range. Campers will learn proper safety procedures and form before taking their first aim. Archery has many health and mental benefits which include mental focus and patience, discipline and hand-eye coordination. We'll be shooting at balloons, paper animals and other archery targets; and, 6 to 9 year old campers will start out with suction cup arrows for the first few days. Archery instructors have completed Level 1 certification. Soccer Camp Welcome to Dynamic Futbol Academy! Your child has the opportunity to learn from a coach with 10+ years of experience. Campers will learn technical skill, game tactics, and game scenarios in a competitive, structured atmosphere. Tennis Camp
Now is your chance to work with an Olympic tennis coach and learn about the game or improve your skills. Camps are designed to enhance a player’s progression. Beginning players will learn forehand, backhand and serve. All children will play and learn through fun games and drills. Coach John Angel is a high-performance coach and has many years of experience in training Olympic and professional tennis players. Lessons are also available year-round. BEGINNER COOKING CAMP Available Weeks 1, 3, 5, 6, 9. AM Session. Ages 6 - 10. Week 1 = $100; all other weeks = $125/wk Teaching kids how to cook is a great way to instill a sense of responsibility, creativity, organization and cooperation in their growing minds. We'll be making pancakes, eggs, cookies, brownies, grilled cheese, and more. They'll learn how to use the stove, oven and even how to do dishes! Kitchen safety will be taught from equipment to food handling & safety. JUNIOR CHEF COOKING CAMP Available Weeks 2, 4, 7, 8, 10. AM Session. Ages 9 - 12. $150/wk Junior Chefs should be comfortable in the kitchen, using knives, oven, stove and doing dishes. Each week we will travel around the world, making different cuisines: Pizza (Week 2), Chinese (Week 4), Mexican (Week 7), Italian (Week 8) and American/USA (Week 10). SENIOR CHEF COOKING CAMP Available Weeks 1, 2, 5, 9, 10. PM Session. Ages 11+. Week 1 = $240/wk; all other weeks = $300/wk For young chefs looking for a more in-depth culinary experience. Each day the Senior Chef will work individually, or with another chef, to create that day’s menu item and will bring home a dinner for 4 family members! EUREKA! INVENTING THE FUTURE Available Week 2 In this camp, campers discover Sci-Fi writers like Jules Verne (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea) as they experiment with submarines, discover the Wright Brother's innovative flying machines and explore engineering creativity with Rube Goldberg machines. We'll step into space by launching self-built rockets and utilize galactic technology to build their own Mad Science Light Stick, and choreograph a Saber Dance. Dreams will take off to the future and beyond! SHIPWRECKED! SURVIVAL SCIENCE Available Week 4 Shipwrecked on a deserted island? In this camp, kids will build a shelter out of raw materials available on the island; experiment with Alexander Graham Bell's telephone to call for help, and build inventions to survive and eventually escape the island! They'll discover some of the greatest inventions of all time from DaVinci, Nikola Tesla, Benjamin Franklin, Archimedes, and more while experimenting with bridges, forts, flying machines, and a trebuchet. Dance & DEGAS Camp Join us as we explore the many aspects of DANCE and ART! A combination class that integrates jazz, ballet and lyrical with gesture drawing, sculpture, painting and more. This camp is great for both the beginner or advanced dancer looking to improve and broaden their skills and knowledge. Campers will learn some history of dance and art, produce dance-related art, and learn the importance of teamwork. Little Ballerinas Camp This fun camp will have your independent dancer learning the basics of ballet, which serves as a base for many other dance types. They'll learn French dance terminology as well as proper stretching. A craft and light snack will be offered each day. Drama provides a framework for greater competence in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and creative and critical thinking - improving both verbal and non-verbal expression. Students will take part in improvisational work, games, scenes, and monologues. The instructor is an Elly Award winner and former professional actress with Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity Association. Irish Step Dance is one of the most traditional dance forms found in the Celtic regions of Europe. Kayaking Camp Taking advantage of the beautiful Florida waters, Kayaking Camp is certain to make your camper ask for more and appreciate the nature that is Florida. This camp is one of our more popular offerings. Your child will learn boating safety and all about Florida’s nature features from Pop Stansell Park. Space is limited due to safety restrictions. Advance registration is required. Osprey Bay Outdoors is a recognized leader in water activities and is accredited by the American Canoe Association. Ages: 8-12 and 13+ Schedule: Monday - Friday , 9 AM to 12 PM Fees: $205/wk Weeks Available: Week 3 (ages 8-12) Location: Pop Stansell Park (Boat Launch) Week 4 (ages 13+) Camp Instructor: Osprey Bay Outdoors What To Bring? Boat Fishing Camp One of Palm Harbor’s most unique camps, your child will become part of the crew of a small fishing charter boat! As your child enjoys the waters of Pinellas, they will learn all about their surroundings, fishing techniques and fish identification. Each boat is led by a United States Coast Guard approved Fishing Charter Captain, who is fully insured and background screened by the Florida Department of Children & Families. If your child has a tendency to get motion sickness, we suggest our “land fishing” camp. Campers who do get “sea sick” will have to be returned to shore and picked-up promptly. STAND-UP PADDLEBOARD CAMP
What To Bring? Campers should wear water-appropriate clothing and flip-flops or water shoes. Hats, water, light snacks and sunscreen are needed each day. Your child will be loaned a fishing pole to use during camp. Please arrive early for check-in (no later than 8:15 AM). Boats depart promptly at 8:30AM and will not wait for campers not in attendance; attendance and, no refunds will be issued for late campers who miss a day.
Land Fishing Camp
Learn about the Dean Parks Memorial Scholarship (Page 13)
In this fun, dock-side camp program we explore Florida nature at Pop Stansell Park. Each child will learn the basics of fishing - how to bait a hook, tie knots and proper fishing techniques. Campers will be provided with a fishing pole for use during camp. Gymnastics Camp This recreational program is based on the developmental curriculum of the USA Gymnastics Program. Each session is designed to meet the developmental needs of your child. Your child will be challenged in a safe, structured, educational environment learning gymnastics skills that will carry them through life. Elena and Maria Harabagiu have more than 40 years of experience in gymnastics, they are members of USAG and have a Certificate in Safety and Risk Management. Our Junior Counselor (JC) program focuses on developing leadership skills in teens age 13-17 through working hand-in-hand with our summer camp administrative team. JCs are an integral part of our programming and assist in all aspects of summer camp program planning and administration. This program is perfect for those seeking Bright Futures hours, too! The Junior Counselor program is for interested teens that want to take part in our summer activities and be the “helping hands” in a day camp setting. JCs will have various duties in the camp program such as: setting up rooms for the day, preparing crafts, leading games and sports, being an active member of the Camp Adventure Team and much more. There is no cost to participate in this program; however, interested teens must submit the following information to be considered, as this is a competitive program and spaces are limited. JCs are asked to commit to five (5) of the ten (10) weeks of summer camp. They will be scheduled for four (4) hour shifts. To get started, complete a “Junior Counselor Program” application, available online, and return it to the indicated address on or before 5/12/22. Applications consist of: 1. the program application 2. a copy of your latest progress report or report card Teens selected for the program will complete a series of interviews and training prior to the start of summer. DEAN PARKS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP In honor of Captain Dean Parks, who was an instrumental part of our fishing camps at CSA, we are pleased to offer a limited number scholarships specifically for fishing camps. The scholarship is available for either type of fishing camp, boat or land (see Page 11). CAMP ADVENTURE SCHOLARSHIPS CSA Palm Harbor has a limited amount of available funding to provide scholarships for weekly Camp Adventure registration fees. Scholarships are available to children who without financial assistance would otherwise be unable to participate in Summer Camp. An application and proof of financial need is required. The Fine Print REGISTRATION INFORMATION.
Registration for all camp programs is on a first-come, first-served basis. The online registration system (DASH) can be found at www.PalmHarborCamps.com. Online registration is available 24/7 and payment can be made using any major credit card at time of registration. Registration can also be done in person at The Centre located at 1500 16th Street in Palm Harbor. Registration hours are Monday - Thursday 8 AM to 7 PM, Friday 8 AM to 4 PM and Saturday 9AM to 1PM.
PAYMENT POLICY.
Camp Adventure: All registrations are for a full camp week (5-day or 4-day weeks), no single day signups. Camp registrations with a balance at time of registration are required to set up a payment plan. The plan is available through DASH as follows: • The first week of camp must be paid in full. All other weeks require a $35 deposit per week. • The remaining balance will be placed on a payment plan beginning 5/23/22. • Your payment plan for the camp season can be seen in your account. The registration system will automatically allocate your payments spread across the number of registered weeks of camp. • Beginning 5/23/22, payments will be withdrawn every Monday. • NOTE: Sibling Discounts are available; you must come in or call to register. [FOR CAMP ADVENTURE ONLY, NOT APPLICABLE TO SPECIALTY CAMP REGSTRATIONS]
Specialty Camps: Full payment is due at the time of registration to secure your child's space. Camp Wrap Around: Full payment is due at the time of registration to secure your child's space. Participation in camp requires FULL payment. CSA offers a limited number of scholarships based on need; see Page 13 for more information.
SPECIALTY CAMPS & CAMP WRAP AROUND
If you extend your camper’s day by choosing Camp Wrap Around there is an additional charge of $70/week. Transportation is not provided from one location to another. If you choose a Specialty Camp and Camp Wrap Around, transportation to The Centre will be your responsibility. If the Specialty Camp is at The Centre, CSA will walk your camper to/from Camp Adventure.
CAMPER INFORMATION.
Camp participation requires a signed e-waiver upon registration. No child will be admitted to camp without the waiver being signed. Camper emergency information is also collected at the time of registration. Be sure to complete all the requested information, including emergency contacts, pick up information, allergies, etc. This information is required for your camper’s participation in our camps.

REFUNDS AND CHANGES.
Refunds are available for emergencies only (severe illnesses, death in the family, etc.) and must be requested in writing accompanied by documentation. Scheduling conflicts do not qualify as an emergency. Refunds or pro-rated rates are not given for days missed. Changes and cancellation are considered on case-by-case basis. A $20 administration fee per registration applies to all changes and refunds granted.
MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA.
As a public entity, we regularly take photos and videos of our programs. Media may be used for future print, web, or video advertising, as well as social media, but will never be shared or sold to a commercial entity.
PUBLIC RECORDS.
As per Florida Statute 119, all correspondence to/from the Palm Harbor Community Services Agency is considered a public record and may be released as allowed by law.
CODE OF CONDUCT.
All campers are required to remain respectful of their Camp Counselors and facilities. If a child’s behavior becomes unruly or is a disruption to participation, a parent/guardian will be contacted to pick-up the child immediately. Repeated unruly behavior will result in suspension or termination of program participation, without refund.
CELL PHONE & ELECTRONICS.
5–9-year-olds: No electronics, except Cell phones are permitted. Cell Phones must remain in Camper’s backpack throughout the course of the day. 10-12 year olds: Electronics use is permitted during designated times throughout the day. Electronics are NOT Permitted outdoors or on field trips. Electronics are camper's responsibility and are used at their own risk. Parents must contact the Camp office to reach a camper. If a Camper needs to reach their parent, it is done through the Camp Administrator.
PLAYING SMART & CLEANING PROTOCOLS.
The health and safety of our campers and staff is our top priority. Hand sanitizer will be available at every entrance. All surfaces will be disinfected daily, and all toys/games will be disinfected between play times and groups.
