The 18 Johnnies combined for a 3.42 team GPA to earn the program's 14th honor in the award's 14th year. SJU was one of 12 teams that earned GCAA All-Academic Team honors and participated at the NCAA Division III Championship in May.

Three Johnnies – junior Thomas Gutzmer (Jordan, Minn.), sophomore Nate Loxtercamp (Richmond, Minn./Melrose Area) and sophomore Glavine Schugel (New Ulm, Minn.) - earned GCAA All-America Scholar honors, sponsored by Srixon/Cleveland Golf, July 21. The SJU golf program has now had an All-America Scholar each of the past 23 years, for a total of 44 during that span. The distinction was the second consecutive for Gutzmer.

SJU won its second consecutive conference title (14th overall) Oct. 2-4 at the 2021 MIAC Championships, shooting 14-underpar over the three-day, 45-hole conference tournament. The win clinched the Johnnies' 19th appearance at the NCAA Division III Championship in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., where SJU finished 26th out of 43 teams in May.
