Position: Deputy Director of National Implementation Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package based on qualifications Office: New York City Core Responsibilities The Deputy Director of National Implementation will work with the Director of National Implementation to oversee and manage the nationwide rollout of LJAF’s pretrial risk assessment, the PSA-Court. LJAF is in the process of developing additional tools and reforms, some of which may be taken to scale by the National Implementation team. The Deputy Director will report to the Director of National Implementation. Responsibilities will include: Working with local jurisdictions to implement LJAF’s criminal justice tools Managing technical assistance providers and consultants assisting LJAF with national rollout Building buy-in among key stakeholders in jurisdictions that have expressed an interest in LJAF’s tools and reforms Ensuring that implementation is carried out with fidelity to the underlying research Skills, Experience, and Abilities Significant experience in municipal, county, or state government Significant experience managing program implementation Ability to navigate complex, multi-agency relationships Capacity to foster consensus among multiple stakeholders Willingness to travel (approximately 2 trips / month) Ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects and initiatives Ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles and see projects through to completion Excellent oral and written communication skills Capacity to thrive in an entrepreneurial work environment Ability to work both collaboratively and independently Strong leadership skills and self-motivation Flexibility and adaptability To Apply: If interested in this position, please send a resume, cover letter, and two writing samples to rgrieco@arnoldfoundation.org.
