É C L AT B M X PA RTS 2017 The drive to progress and innovate is something that never slows down for éclat. We continually believe in taking a step back, looking at the bikes we ride and trying to work out how we can modify, change, or even just totally re-think even the smallest component into something that's even better than before.
For the second order window we are excited to add and injection of revolutionary new products to an already revamped and upgraded 2017 product line. We worked with ODI Grips in California to create our best feeling grip to date. Our new Pulsar Grip is made in the USA from ODI's super soft feeling, long lasting rubber compound that is adored around the world. Using a simplistic flangeless design, and measuring up slightly longer than most grips at 165mm, the Pulsar is designed to feel perfect in your hands from the moment you put them on.
After a huge demand, our Nylon/Fibreglass AK Sprocket Guard is now available in a larger 28t option for riders wanting the benefits of the low-friction guard but in a bigger size for a larger gear ratio. Both the sprocket and replaceable guards are both offered in this size. Sometimes it's the little things that get overlooked. Our new Tube Amp Inner Tube pack contains 2 inner tubes, uses a high quality rubber construction, and unlike most tubes - is designed to fit today's wider 2.30"-2.40" tires. After looking at the current offering, one of the areas we really thought we could improve upon is the valve. Our first inner tube uses a re-enforced steel full-length valve with a threaded lock-ring system, preventing the valve getting damaged or broken, as well as providing correct instillation and positioning when inflated. The éclat 2017 collection has so many talking points that words will never do it justice. We'll leave you to go through at your own pace and hopefully share our anticipation for the upcoming season.
We are proud to introduce our new Mirage Tire, a high performance 120tpi street tire that combines weight saving technology and a cleverly thought out tread design, resulting in one of the lightest street tires on the market. We spent the past year working on a lighter weight tire solution, which would save noticeable weight from the bike - but could hold up to the abuse and damage that modern day street riding can cause. Available in x2 size options and the choice of a regular wire bead or even lighter Kevlar folding bead for the rider looking to cut down on weight even more. Our most sophisticated tire design to date, the Mirage tire is proof that a lightweight product does not have to sacrifice strength or durability. The Wave Headset is the perfect balance between simplicity and elegance. This new headset uses a CNC machined 16mm tall 6061-T6 alloy cap and x2 slim spacers with high-end sealed bearings, for a clean headset with multiple stack height options, without breaking the bank. Following input from the éclat PRO team, our street designed and factory tested SPIRE Crank is now available in a super short 160mm option to cope with the growing trend of 12.5"-13" chainstay frames. For riders looking for the toughest possible drivetrain setup, the 160's are stronger, stiffer and lighter than a regular sized crank arm and are a must have for any rider looking for the most tech setup to date.
