My School Trip……….. (Continued from page 1)

After that, a lady taught us how the Olympic Village looked in the days of the Victorians. There were many factories built in the Olympic Village. Another important fact is that the scrap bits that were left to make factories in those days , were used to make the roads and the ground to keep it as a
memory, because they did not want to destroy those materials. Also, the teacher taught us about the matchstick girl’s strike of 1888, by a group of teenage girls who were working in that factory in Bow. We learnt many things in the Olympic Village and had lots of fun, however we had to leave the Olympic Village as it was getting late and returned back to school

A study has shown that short sessions of brisk walking (three 10-minute walks per day) resulted in similar improvements in fitness and were at least as effective in reducing body weight as long sessions (one 30-minute walk per day). 4. Walking improves physical function. Research shows that walking

Do Not Be Anybody’s Slave By Mihan Year 4 Once upon a time there lived a grandmother and she had two grandchildren, a granddaughter and grandson. The granddaughter was the eldest and the son the youngest. The grandmother also had two pet ducks. One day when the children were playing outside throwing rocks the grandson threw a rock and it hit on of the ducks and the duck died. The granddaughter saw what had happened and she wanted to take advantage of the situation so she said to her brother “if you do not do what I say I
will go and tell grandma what has happened and you killed the duck.” After this because he was scared he became a slave to his cunning sister. After some time when the brother had enough of being his sister’s slave, he went to his grandma crying and he said “why don‟t you ask about what happened to your duck?” Then the grandma said to him “I saw through the window what you did the other day when you killed my duck and I did nothing to you, and because you did not tell me and apologize for what you have done you have become a slave to your sister. If you would have told me what had happened and said sorry I would have forgiven you.” Dear loving Brothers and Sisters do not try to hide anything or any mistakes that
you make from God. Tell your father God and remember not to do it again he will FORGIVE you so remember Do Not Be A Slave For Anyone!
Well done Children, Continue to write to us and improve your skills.
