As a new venue arises, Voodoo Music Venue needed an identity. Since this venue is also a bar, their business cards can also be used as drink coasters. Displayed on the left is a sample letterhead.

As the love for electronic music grows, we are beginning to see more and more DJs being included in festival lineups. For this year’s Sasquatch Festival, the cover shows the Sasquatch spinning old-school turntables.

Lightning in a bottle
“Almost as rare as catching lightning in a bottle.” For the Lightning in a Bottle Festival, I wanted to give them a logo redesign. Give them something with more of a “rare, and unique” feel to it. The combination of art, indie, and electronic music can be seen in the logo.
Self-Portraits
I wanted to include both my Photoshop and scratchboard cababilities in these two self-portraits. To the right, I created myself in a more animalistic approach. Below, is a sample post card I created using scratchboard and Photoshop.
Acrylic wash
This project was created using an acrylic wash technique, that involved adding and subtracting paint. To add detail, you can also see the use of colored pencil in the zoomed image to the right.
