Chapter 3

The Bath House Project allowed students to design a bath house inpired by a Le Corbusier painting. The painting I chose for this assignment is Deux Femmes Fantasques, 1937 by Le Corbusier. The concept I soon develop from analyzing the painting to produce the bath house is “Characteristical Nature.” I divided the painting’s colors into groups of a specific roles in nature. I then interpret the characteristics that each group will have creating the bath house.

COLOR_PALETTE_FOREGROUND_TO_BACKGROUND

3D Shapes And Iterrations

I take shapes from the paintings and create different volumes. Green shapes are based on dynamic volumes, Blue shapes have movement in their volumes, and the brown shapes have more edge in the volumes.
