this month’s progress Hello all! This semester is coming to a close in a month’s time! I hope you are all having a blast being a part of CSUN’s CKI family. Also, I hope those of you who are going to Fall Training Conference this weekend will have a fun & safe trip! For the meantime… WELCOME TO THE OCTOBER ISSUE OF CSUN CKI! We’ve had a great month! October is finally behind us and now it’s time to revisit and in some sense, relive, what we have done and accomplished. I am honored to present to you the very first issue CSUN CKI has ever released. YAY! This issue contains this month’s progress, best moments, and everything else in between.
I hope you will enjoy this as much as I had enjoyed putting it together All the best, Geneive Mijares Mendoza

CSUN CKI has done it again! Every year, CSUN’s CKI family takes part in the annual Crazy Kompetition for Infants South (CKI South) in order to raise money for the Pediatric Trauma Program. The event consists of mini games that test your endurance as well as skills! This year was the second time CSUN’s CKI has participated in this event and not only did members do well individually, they also worked together amazingly as a
TEAM!
Although we did not take the win this year, the real victory lies within the valuable time spent with one another and the memories created from this fun experience.
highlights: President Charles Balcom from Team Sexy Six wins first place in Balloon Stomp for the purple group!

teamwork.

“
I had alot fun at CKI South, but I wished I could have interacted more with the other schools. CKI South really helped strengthed the bond within our own schools and
made me feel closer as a "family".
