Field Service Technician

New England Company Type: Dental Lasers (Interested candidate must go through Lucas Group Inc. ) Install, analyze and service laser systems in the field. Develop and maintain relationships between the customer and the company on all issues relating to the operation of the system. Provide assistance with the sales process and develops and maintains relationships with Sales Representatives. Identify areas for product improvements. Setup Mechanic

Bridgeport, CT (Interested candidate must go through OEM AmericaInc. ) Exp. Req: 3-5 Yrs with Sencorp Type Thermoformers. Heat and/or RF sealing experience a plus. Education: High School or GED required. Some college preferred. Shift: 1st Shift Days (Typ. 6:30AM – 3:30PM); OT as needed Responsibilities include (not limited to): Store and maintain all tooling in a neat and organized fashion. Prepare tooling ahead of time for installation into machinery. Maintain and repair machines during run and down times. Maintain and repair all tooling and accessories. Inform supervisor of damages or repairs. Remove and install tooling in thermoformers using standard company procedures. Maintain optimum efficiencies during the course of production run. Provide feedback to improve efficiencies when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Alert supervisor of unsafe conditions. Start up production support equipment (compressor, chiller, vacuum pump) prior to production start. Warm up thermoformers prior to production start. Laborer/Driver

Safety Marking, Inc - Bridgeport, CT Safety Marking, Inc. is a road and highway striping company located in Bridgeport. We are currently looking for male/female applicants interested in applying for positions as laborers and drivers with our company. We are looking for skilled, motivated individuals who are willing to work 50+ hours per week during evening and overnight hours. The positions are seasonal from April through December. Driving positions would require a CDL license. In addition, all employees will need to be OSHA 10 Hour Construction certified prior to their start date. Duties include, but are not limited to: laying traffic cones, sweeping the roadway, laying 50 lb. bags of glass beads. Employees must meet at our Bridgeport location and travel to work sites in our vehicles. Work sites are located in Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island. Employees are paid a downtime rate for their travel time to and from the jobsite and a prevailing rate for all work performed on Department of Transportation/Public Work projects. Perform cleaning and landscaping duties as required; Fabricate and or assemble equipment as required; Special projects as requested by management; Standby Duties: Performance of other Processing / Maintenance or Warehouse Department tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work. Forklift Operator

Infra Metals - Wallingford, CT Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Load / unload or otherwise move inventory through the use of motorized forklift equipment according to work orders and by directive of supervisor. Log and report inventory location changes according to specified procedure. Assemble customer orders according to work orders. Log and tag inventory received according to specified procedure. Record pertinent material information on to work orders or other forms as specified by management. Special projects as specified by management. Auto Mechanic and Painter

In - Hartford, CT Auto Body Collision Center in Hartford seeking individuals with knowledge in frame repair, ICAR a plus. EEO Full time 40 hrs- First shift (days); 2 years of experience Painter, must have knowledge of color theory and know how to blend as well as color sand and buff finish products. Must be able to sand, clean, prep and back tape vehicles prior to paint process. Currently using PPG envirobase. STEP-UP CT Works Implements New Veterans STEP-UP program There is new program available that benefits both employers and potential employees. Capital Workforce Partners in conjunction with the Department of Labor and CT Works, have expanded their STEP-UP program to further assist post 9/11 combat veterans in securing employment. The program allows eligible employers to receive reimbursement of wages paid to eligible veterans. This can be used a great tool to help sell yourself to a small or mid-sized company.
