Security Monitor

Central Security - Rocky Hill, CT A full security service company in Rocky Hill that provides 24/7 alarm monitoring to its customers. We have full time entry level openings, 2nd shift 4:00 pm to 12:00 a.m. and 3rd shift 12:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. to monitor & respond to alarm signals, dispatch proper public safety agency. Information Technology

Mecanex - Bristol, CT Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provisions. Clinical Director

Stonington Institute - North Stonington, CT The Stonington Institute is seeking a full time Clinical Director to oversee the Starlight Program. The Starlight Military Program is a 28-day inpatient rehabilitation program dedicated to Active Duty Service Members, National Guard/Reserves and Veterans whose lives have changed and become unmanageable due to significant substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and mental health issues. We believe successful behavioral health treatment occurs in the least restrictive setting that provides the most effective intensity of services. Our mission is to draw on the psychological resiliency of our service members in order to provide them with adaptive coping skills needed to maintain a productive and healthy lifestyle. Our treatment program uses evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approaches that are consistent with Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense treatment guidelines. Clinical Director is a licensed clinical psychologist whose responsibilities include admission evaluations, treatment team leadership and direct care of patients in the program. In addition there will be clinical staff supervision, communication with base personnel as necessary and program development and management. A competitive salary & benefits package will be offered.

We repair worn or mis-machined parts to restore dimensional tolerances. on This position is responsible for receiving incoming jobs from customers via UPS, FedX, customer trucks and other carriers. Duties include but are not limited to: Inspecting incoming packages for damage and reading, counting and entering customer purchase order information accurately and efficiently into our work order program. Employees are required to work in a safe and cautious manner in a busy environment. May operate a forklift as needed. Attention to detail and flexibility are key components to this job. Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug test. The position requires mandatory participation in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Prevention Program and is subject to ITAR. There is new program available that benefits both employers and potential employees. Capital Workforce Partners in conjunction with the Department of Labor and CT Works, have expanded their STEP-UP program to further assist post 9/11 combat veterans in securing employment. CPBN is offering free video and TV production training for qualified Veterans There is a new program available for qualified Veterans to learn the ins–and-outs of video and broadcast production for free. The program consists of two four hour classes a week over the course of a few months and when the Veterans graduate, the program assists with job placement.
