RSP DRILL WEEKEND REMINDER FOR OCT DRILL ON 13-14
Good Afternoon soldiers of the CTARNG RSP. This is a list of things to remind you to get ready for drill: There are no buses this drill. Transportation to and from drill is your responsibility. If you are unable to get a ride or carpool contact your recruiter and RSP. Drill is Saturday and Sunday only. Report time is 0645-0700 for Gold Phase (BHO) soldiers only to building 102. All other phase are to report 07450800 to the Regional Training Institute (RTI). Start hydrating now PT is going to start be conducted more and to prevent dehydration start drinking water. If you have not done so yet get your AKO (Army Knowledge Online Account) set up before drill. If you need instructions on how to do so contact SGT Conroy at sean.p.conroy1@us.army.mil Get your direct deposit turned into RSP as soon as possible if you have not done so. If it is turned in at drill or after drill you will see a paper check mailed to you 4-5 weeks after drill instead of the 1-2 weeks after drill with direct deposit. You can either fax it to RSP at 860-223-9207 or scan it to SGT Conroy. If you need a direct deposit form Google “SF 1199”. Have your bank fill it out to avoid mistakes. Reminder all BHO soldiers are to report in PT gear and to complete the BHO survey which is listed in the newsletter. If you have not done so yet, like the RSP Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ConnecticutGuardRsp. From this point forward the
only places the newsletter will be posted are the Facebook page and emailed out to your AKO account. If you cannot make drill make sure you have contacted your recruiter and RSP. Do not wait till the day before or the day of to let people know you cannot make it. All new soldiers have to complete the ESGR employer update on: https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/esgr after logging in click on CEI update. If you have returned from training and have not reported into New Britain by Thursday do not come to drill. You will be sent home. Remember you were all briefed to contact RSP within 72 hours of getting home in CT so no excuse. In the coming months RSP will be using your military ID to sign you into drill. Make sure you get it. It is also another form of photo ID for when you are going through TSA security on your way to training. PhasesRed-1st RSP Drill White-2 or more RSP drills Green-Have completed BCT but have not gone to AIT yet. Purple-1st RSP but shipping before the next drill. Blue-Have been to multiple drills and are shipping out to basic training Gold-Have completed BCT and AIT and are conducting battle hand off to your unit.
RSP TIP FOR DRILL: Your ACU uniform top has three slots on the left sleeve. Guess what you can hold in them??? Three black pens. One for your buddy who forgot to read this, another to replace the one you will give your buddy and finally one more to replace the one which you somehow lost on drill weekend.
