CT NATIONAL GUARD SERVICE MEMBER AND FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER

Tuesday, July 8, 2014:

Here are a few deals/discounts to some of the Nation’s most popular amusement parks! SIX FLAGS (NATIONAL) Most military bases offer discounted admission tickets to Six Flags parks so check with your nearest MWR/ITT office. There are no military discounts available at the park ticket offices. KNOEBEL’S AMUSEMENT RESORT (PENNSYLVANIA) Active duty servicemembers receive a free All-Day or Sundown Plan Ride Pass at Knoebel’s Amusement Resort by showing a valid military ID at the hand stamp window. This discount is available from opening day to the end of the season. On days when an All-Day Ride Pass isn’t available, you’ll get $20 in ride tickets. From Flag Day (June 14) through the Fourth of July, family members can receive a special “buy one-get-one free offer on Mondays through Fridays only with a dependent ID. HERSHEY PARK (PENNSYLVANIA) Hershey Park offers an online printable coupon to present at the front gate with a valid military ID. This knocks $20 off the price of regular (ages 9-54) one-day admission and $4 off Junior (ages 3-8) or Senior (ages 55-69) one-day admission. One coupon can be used on the purchase of up to 8 admission tickets. KING’S DOMINION (VIRGINIA) Active duty and retired military can buy a single day general admission ticket to King’s Dominion for $38.99 per person. Purchase up to 6 tickets at the gate with a military ID. King’s Dominion also offers season discounts. During Military Appreciation Days, Memorial Day weekend, and Fourth of July weekend, admission is free for active and retired military. These are just a few of many National deals/discounts for amusement park fun with the family!
