AIRLINE PILOT CAREER PROGRAMME The CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL ‘whitetail’ Route is no ordinary journey to becoming an airline pilot. Characterised by unique value add ‘Training Sponsorship’, benefits and enhancements, this airline-focussed career programme aims to take you directly to the role of co-pilot with one of our Airline Partners. For those seeking additional qualifications, there is also the option to incorporate the CTC WINGS - Middlesex University BSc Honours Degree in Professional Aviation Pilot Practice into the programme. Throughout your training, you will join fellow trainee airline pilots to experience the skies in spectacular parts of the world as never before; as well as sharing adventures and making friendships that will last a lifetime.

APPLICATION & SELECTION PROCESS

A comprehensive selection process with CTC Aviation

We integrate the use of Computer-Based Training (CBT) with self study and tutor-led instruction from some of the best instructors in the industry

Flying the DA20/C172/DA40, you will learn the fundamentals of visual flying, basic instrument flying and night flying, culminating in your first progress test

Single and multi-engine aircraft and simulator NZ or USA, and UK

BASIC TRAINING

Note: If BSc (Hons) Degree chosen, additional training modules will be incorporated into syllabus

Flying the EFIS C172/DA40/DA42, you’ll learn the fundamentals of visual flying, basic instrument flying, night flying and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) working towards your CPL and IR skills tests


SUCCESSFUL GRADUATION FROM THIS ROUTE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH (AFTER LEG 5): 1. ATPL Theoretical Knowledge 2. Commercial Pilot’s Licence with Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine Piston class rating (CPL/IR/MEP) 3. Multi-Crew Co-operation (MCC) completion certificate 4. Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (UPRT) These items combined are known as a ‘Frozen’ ATPL and are the minimum entry qualifications to commence a Type Rating and Line training (Legs 6 to 7) to become a co-pilot on multi-pilot aircraft with an airline.

Legs 6 to 7 are completed once you are placed by our graduate placement team as a co-pilot with a CTC Aviation Airline Partner. � Upon joining your airline, you will continue with further ‘Line’ training (carrying passengers) which will conclude with a ‘final line-check’ by your airline training captain. � If elected as an option, you will complete your BSc Honours degree at the end of line training with your Airline Partner. MULTI-PILOT FLIGHT TRAINING

AIRCRAFT TYPE SPECIFIC TRAINING

LINE FLYING

Airline Qualification Course (AQC) UK CTC Aviation’s world-renowned Airline Qualification Course (AQC) incorporating Multi Crew Co-operation (MCC) certificate, advanced handling skills and an airline Initial Crew Resource Management (CRM) course covering Threat and Error Management training (TEM).

Jet simulator CTC Aviation/Airline Partner Simulator and aircraft training including advanced UPRT with CTC Aviation/Airline Partner

Jet aircraft Airline Partner Line Orientated Experience (LOE) and Line Check with Airline Partner. You will also complete Safety, Emergency and Procedures training (SEP)

Concludes with Line Orientated Flight Training (LOFT) and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT)

ADDITIONAL FEES

The funding required for the complete CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL Route is £93,800. This comprises:

� Food and living expenses

� Security Bond – £69,000 (13 instalments)

� EASA Class 1 medical – EASA scale of charges

� Foundation Training Fee – £24,800 (paid before the commencement of Leg 3 training)

� Travel and medical insurance

� The provision of all additional training and any retesting to achieve the required competence, at no extra cost

� Insurances to protect life, finance, personal property and training expenses

� Initial licence and ratings issue fees

PERFORMANCE PROTECTION From CTC Aviation Selection by CTC Aviation enables CTC WINGS ‘Performance Protection’ to be provided:

� A refund of fees (less a £5,000 deductible) should we cease your training due to your competence falling below the minimum required professional pilot issue standard

� CTC WINGS ‘Performance Protection’ from CTC Aviation � Self-catered accommodation for all phases of training � Air travel to either NZ or US � All CAA exam and skills test fees - initial (and retakes if required) � EASA Initial Licence issue fee Terms and conditions apply

� have the unrestricted right to live and work in the EEA or Switzerland

� Click on the ‘apply now’ button

� Your application will be screened by a member of the CTC Aviation selection team

1 � hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C or above, including maths, science and English language* � be fluent in English (verbal and written) � produce a CRC (Criminal Record Check) basic disclosure certificate before training can commence

� Complete the online application form and click ‘submit’ � You will receive an auto-response to acknowledge receipt of your application

� You will be contacted by email by a member of the CTC Aviation selection team to inform you whether your application has been successful � If successful, you will be invited to attend an assessment day. These usually take place at CTC Aviation’s AIrline Resourcing and Selection Centre - Dibden Manor, UK

� minimum height 157cm, maximum height 191cm � be able to obtain an EASA Class 1 medical without restrictions prior to commencement of training *see naric.org.uk for international academic comparisons
