EXCELLENCE THESE THREE WORDS EXPRESS THE VERY SOUL OF OUR COMPANY AND OUR PEOPLE... and it’s been our commitment ever since CTC Aviation was founded by a team of senior airline training Captains in 1990. Excellence is a core value which underpins the quality and safety of the airline industry and is embraced wholeheartedly by the CTC Aviation team which I lead today.

Now, as a member of the L-3 group of companies we are able to offer an even more comprehensive portfolio of innovative solutions to airline pilot training, graduate placement services and flight simulation equipment. EXPERTISE
EMMA-JANE LACY FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR - AB INITIO TRAINING
After falling in love with flying, I did my research to decide on the training school best for me. I chose CTC Aviation because of its global reputation and its airline-oriented training. I also knew that I wanted to become an instructor after completing my training.
“THE ONLY THING TO DO WITH GOOD ADVICE IS TO PASS IT ON.” Oscar Wilde
I completed my Instructor course and then started work at CTC Aviation. I really enjoy working here with a great bunch of people. The daily highlight would have to be passing on the knowledge from my own training and experience to the trainees and seeing them succeed. Having CTC Aviation on their CV makes our graduates more appealing to a range of airlines around the world. I would recommend CTC Aviation to anyone wanting to get into the airline industry because of its international reputation and high quality airline-specific

PARTNERSHIPS CAROLYN McCALL
CASE STUDY 1 – EASYJET
CASE STUDY 2 – BRITISH AIRWAYS
CASE STUDY 3 – JETSTAR
CASE STUDY 4 – QATAR AIRLINES
CTC Aviation has worked with easyJet, one of Europe’s leading low fares carriers, since the airline’s inception in 1995.
CTC Aviation and British Airways launched the Future Pilot Programme (FPP) in July 2011, a groundbreaking model replicating CTC WINGS which saw British Airways outsource the management and sponsorship of all its training requirements for new cadet pilots to CTC Aviation for five years. The programme will deliver significant cost savings to the airline.
The Jetstar Group is the largest Low Cost Carrier operating in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific regions, with further growth plans ahead.
Qatar CTC WINGS is a new International cadet pilot programme that brings together the qualities of one of the world’s most progressive airlines and the expertise of CTC Aviation.
CEO – EASYJET
“CTC Aviation is one of our most important partners, having responded to our needs and provided innovative solutions to the challenges we have faced since our first flight in 1995. We look forward
A UNIQUE STRENGTH OF CTC AVIATION IS THE SIGNIFICANT COMMITMENT WE GIVE TO DEVELOPING PARTNERSHIPS WITH OUR AIRLINE CUSTOMERS... through our innovative course design teams for our Airline Training courses and our dedicated Graduate Placement team, who secure airline employment opportunities for our CTC WINGS ab initio pilot graduates.
to extending our relationship to ensure the very best opportunities for our future pilots.”
GHAITH AL GHAITH CEO – FLYDUBAI
“In partnering with CTC we not only gain access to many years of aviation selection experience, but also to a tailored, advanced and proven applicant management system that will assist us significantly in enhancing the candidate experience as we increase our search for talent world-wide.”
We pride ourselves in the considerable time that we afford to develop relationships with airlines to understand their staffing and training requirements. We recognise that airlines are becoming more focused upon rationalising their cost-base and increasingly outsourcing as much as possible in order to achieve on-going efficiencies, innovation, flexibility and service improvement. CTC Aviation is playing a pivotal role in our industry in designing and implementing the pioneering solutions which are changing the face of our industry.
CAPTAIN SALEEM ZAHEER VICE PRESIDENT OF FLIGHT OPERATIONS – INDIGO
“We take safety extremely seriously. We did our homework and decided that CTC Aviation was the right company for us. Our pilots will return to the line with us as Captains; confident that they have received the highest quality, bespoke training.”
NEIL PAYNE FLIGHT OPERATIONS RESOURCES MANAGER – BRITISH AIRWAYS
Since then, CTC Aviation has provided Boeing and Airbus type rating training for almost 3,000 of their pilots. CTC Aviation has also provided more than 3,600 additional Advanced courses, such as ‘Train the Trainer’ courses for the airline’s future training captains, examiner courses for existing training staff, command training programmes for upgrading pilots, simulator assessments for pilot selection and other regulatory training courses. More than 2,000 graduates from CTC Aviation’s ab initio pilot training programme, CTC WINGS, have joined the airline since it commenced operations. In a significant single growth year, CTC Aviation trained and supplied 195 new pilots to easyJet, saving the airline substantial training and ongoing crew costs.
CTC Aviation is expected to deliver approximately 100 cadets per year to BA using the CTC WINGS model in partnership with two other flight schools as well providing ab initio training for one third of this requirement through its own Crew Training Centres. This endorsement and the adoption of CTC WINGS by British Airways, a carrier which is recognised for its market-leading standards, is proof of the scalability of the CTC WINGS model.
In June 2010, Jetstar selected CTC Aviation to provide pilot training for its four operations in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Vietnam. Two cadet training programmes are in operation: the Jetstar ab initio Cadet Programme for new pilots with little or no experience that is based upon the CTC WINGS model and the Jetstar Advanced Cadet Programme for already licensed pilots.
It was developed because the indigenous population of Qatar alone is unable to meet the significant demand for pilots required by the rapidly expanding airline. Moreover, Qatar Airways has adopted a multi-national crewing strategy to complement a significant global expansion strategy and route network. Qatar Airways and CTC Aviation joined forces to offer aspiring airline pilots the very best in training and employment opportunities and uniquely (as described above) this programme is open to applicants worldwide - no previous flying experience is required. The new Multi-crew Pilot Licence (MPL) route was chosen as it enabled both Qatar Airways and CTC Aviation to work in partnership to deliver the phases of training jointly across the combined training centres of the two organisations as a true ‘Training Alliance’.
“The CTC Aviation Crew Training Centres immediately impressed me by their approach to pilot training. They have a clear mission to produce high-quality pilot graduates. For BA, it is important to know that our future pilots start off by receiving the highest quality of training; CTC Aviation gives us that assurance.”
