Introductory Package Introductory Package includes enough content for approval of 25% of the total hours for your particular program. You will receive instruction on how to add additional content for your students as it is needed. Online lesson content for: • Orientation • History of Cosmetology • Life Skills • Professional Image • Professional Communication • Infection Control • Haircutting • Course shell for additional chapters • Application to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to obtain approval of your programs distance learning curriculum - approval or we will refund your payment • Online instruction including webinars and video sessions to train instructors in the areas of adding additional curriculum to the distance learning course as needed, • Online instruction in generating needed reports for reporting student hours, monitoring student progress and grade reporting Total Cost of Introduction Package: $495 per TDLR Licensed School

LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INFORMATION If your school or district is currently using a learning management system, in most cases we can customize the course content to meet the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Requirements for contact hour submissions and student identification authorization utilizing the LMS you already use. However, if you are not currently using a system, we utilize several different no-cost systems and will recommend one for you based on your needs. Please note: We are NOT selling you a LMS system, but rather the service of providing the organization and deployment of your curriculum in order to meet requirements for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation requirements for cosmetology distance learning student contact hours. Additionally, we assist with the application and guarantee approval of your course or we will refund your payment.
CURRICULUM CONTENT We will design, prepare and launch your course utilizing a variety of instructional tools. Our distance learning packages do not include a textbook. However, it works well with any published textbook that is aligned to learning objectives and the exam outline for the applicable state of Texas License for a Cosmetology Operator, Manicuring Specialist, Esthetics Specialist or Instructor.

EDUCATOR TRAINING We provide one full day of face to face training for program instructors. Instruction includes: Student Enrollment TDLR Reports Uploading Instructor Content Customizing Course Designing Instructor Content to Expand Course Offerings Face to Face Training is limited to instructors who are employed by the applying program with a maximum size of 12 instructors. This is onsite training at your location. All instructors will need their own wi-fi enabled laptop and you must provide wi-fi access for the training. If you have multiple locations within one school district, 12 instructors can share the cost of the training session provided they can all attend on the same day and at the same location. Cost of Face to Face Training: $350
Travel Expenses: F.A.C.T. Education charges a daily per diem calculated at .50 per mile for travel, or cost or airfare and any lodging expenses. Locations within 90 miles do not require lodging.

To finalize your agreement for the implementation of your distance learning program, F.A.C.T. Education will require a hold harmless agreement and a non-disclosure agreement. We ensure that instructors implementing our package(s) have received the proper training to generate reports needed in order to correctly submit hours to TDLR. F.A.C.T. Education Inc. or Texas Cosmetology Educators cannot be held responsible for instructor errors that could result in an inspection violation. We require an agreement from all parties that the course may not be duplicated or shared publicly.
