Albert "Chato" Gauna Jr. Endowed Scholarship The Albert “Chato” Gauna, Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship is given to a student who has an APPROVED DEGREE PLAN leading to an Associate Degree from Central Texas College. Financial need shall be the first consideration. A student who receives this award must take a minimum of six (6) credit hours and maintain an overall GPA of 2.0 an each semester receive a GPA of 2.0 or better. Class can be taken at Central Texas College District or Service Area campuses. The passing of a loved one is probably one of the hardest things that anyone can deal with, but we all know that they live on in our hearts and minds. The love we have for them goes on always and forever. Setting up a scholarship in memory of a loved one can be beneficial to their family as it helps preserve the memory of their loved one. Albert "Chato" Gauna Jr. was a very loving and compassionate person that was taken from us way to soon. His hopes and dreams of attending college were shattered when he was taken at the age of 19. His legacy lives on through the Endowed Scholarship so that someone's dream may be fulfilled. The Endowment Scholarship has been set-up and will provide a student with some financial support—but not much. This is where you can help. We are seeking assistance in hopes of raising a full-year’s tuition for the Scholarship recipient. Contact Jessica Rivera at 254-423-5071 or jrivera@connectionspm.com for information on how to donate to this scholarship. Every little bit will help and will be greatly appreciated from both our family and the student that is awarded this wonderful Scholarship. If you would like to apply for this foundation please contact Central Texas College Foundation.

Beauty Queen Rachael Samora When I get a tattoo it would typically go to the spot that would look best, regardless of how much it will hurt I’ll just have to suck it up because I signed up for the pain and that had been my thought process since I was 16 (the legal age with parent permission to get tattooed) My second tattoo was a rib piece and from there my 3rd led to my foot. It definitely gave me a pain tolerance for sessions to come, and a goal I set for myself is to be 95% covered in the next 4 years, many sessions ahead definitely. I am an almost 21 year old with 37 beautiful tattoos all over including my hands, neck, legs, feet, arms ect..With over hundreds of hours in the chair and will never regret any of them. Each has a purpose even if it’s the simplistic reason as to ‘it was a nice piece of art’. I’ve had issues with getting some jobs… Once I went into an interview and within the minute he told me my tattoos weren’t acceptable for their environment. I still didn’t regret my tattoos; they do not define my work ethic. I put ink on my hands and neck even though it could possibly hold me back from a basic job because I wasn’t planning working a basic job my whole life; my plan is to be a model in the tattoo along with another career by my side. I am proud of how my body looks. In reality the tattoos that are on my body gave me the confidence in which I have today. When my first tattoo was put in my skin from there I wanted to show it off, from 1st to 37th and still counting, the more I got the more skin I want to show, but in an appropriate way. I have truly gained a lot from getting tattooed, from taking better care of my skin to being able to show the world art through my body. With the tattoo shop (K42) I have met some amazing people/artist/photographers some of which have become great friends of mine to this day. Opportunities, amazing opportunities at that have been in my life such as I got to be a part of the miss AZ pageant 2014, there was a time when Billey Tinney photographed me also. I have yet to see what the future holds, big things definitely and boy o’ boy do I plan on it happening. But as for now I am on square one: who I am and where I am going truly makes me happy. I am permanently inked for life and the tattoo community is truly something I am glad to be a part of. Those who have tattoos stand out and definitely are a beautiful walking canvas! The tattooed lifestyle is a regular lifestyle really, but a tad more exciting.

Tattooed Beauties are everything that anyone could ever want. Don't let people judge you based on how you look.

Be who you want to be. Not who you think people want you to be. Be bold, be colorful, be tattooed, BE YOU!!

Meet Amanda Lynne Hailing from Southern California, Amanda Lynne is a modified model who is determined to change the way society views not just tattooed women but women in general. Family is a major priority in her life, and her modeling career is truly a family affair, with many family members involved in style, management, and booking her shoots. Deep down, she is just a giant goofball, who loves to laugh. Amanda desires to bring a classy sort of sexiness to the tattoo modeling world. While not condemning or judging fellow models, Amanda simply wants to see women empowered and not just objectified. Amanda wants all her fans to know that without their support and encouragement, she would not be here. She wants to bring many more smiles and laughter to their lives and hopes to show the world that a woman can be sexy and classy at the same time, even with tattoos!
