Welcome to Washroom Review Introduction by Craig Sewell (Marketing Manager)
Since launching our new Twitter account (@cubiclecentre) in the Winter edition of Washroom Review, it has been great to see some of you ‘Follow’ us and keep up-to-date with the goings on here in West Yorkshire. If you are already involved on Twitter please also check out @SocialSpec – an idea formed in collaboration by myself and Darren Lester of SpecifiedBy (more below). Over the last six months Cubicle Centre has introduced new products and services for a better customer experience.
On the topic of specification, allow me to introduce SpecifiedBy. I’m pleased to announce Cubicle Centre products are listed on this new platform aimed at the Construction industry. Unlike most of the competition, SpecifiedBy are leading the way with innovation and listening to what people actually want from online product specification tools. Check them out at: www.specifiedby.com
Our Pendle™ range has expanded with the introduction of Pendle Junior™ (page 4) and the Pendle™ Panel System, suitable for WC and Urinal configurations.
To finish on I’d like to inform everyone about Cubicle Centre’s progress with Building Information Modelling (BIM).
These off-the-shelf products have been added to the revised Plumbware.co.uk product offering – all of which can now be purchased online (page 8).
Unfortunately I have run out of room though! Fear not, you can read the full story on www.washroomreview.co.uk
Here at Cubicle Centre we pride ourselves on offering a personal and knowledgeable service to our customers. We have taken this one-step further this year and really upped our game in terms of the tools and assistance we offer to specifiers. 2D CAD (.dwg) and 3D BIM (.rfa) files are now available to download for each product along with updated NBS Plus specifications. 2
As always, please get in touch if you have any feedback or require additional help (my contact details are below).
I hope you enjoy Our BIM Journey… So Far and welcome any comments or questions on the subject. Have a great Summer.

Cubicle Centre BIM News #bimlove The Cubicle Centre #bimlove Twitter campaign this February was a success and contributed to component download figures which currently stand in excess of 3,500. Personalised Twitter mugs were up for grabs this year and here’s a photo of one of the prizes.
BIM4SME Last year Cubicle Centre became one of the first manufacturers in the UK to offer a complete library of BIM components for use in real project environments. The huge interest this has generated saw Craig Sewell (Marketing Manager) invited to speak at the recent launch of BIM4SME. Formed in partnership with the Construction Industry Council (CIC), and the Government’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) Task Group, BIM4SME is a working group made up of individuals from SME organisations that have a passion for BIM and a desire to help SME’s (in all areas of construction from contractors to manufacturers) to understand and engage with the BIM process.
