DIRECTIONS FOR SANITIZING, DISINFECTING & DEODORIZING

Use only a clean and dry container, free from chemical or organic matter.

INDUSTRIAL USE: For floors, tables, shelves and equipment, clean all surfaces before spraying or wiping with AQUACLOR® 1% STOCK SOLUTION (500 to 1,000 ppm available chlorine). Ideal for disinfecting and deodorizing dairy and food processing plants and canneries. To disinfect cannery cooling water, charge with AQUACLOR® GRANULES or AQUACLOR® 1% STOCK SOLUTION to get 2ppm residual chlorine level in the water.

AQUACLOR® 1% STOCK SOLUTION (1% available chlorine) Mix 1 pound of AQUACLOR® GRANULES to 3 gallons of lukewarm water and stir. Add more water until the 8 gallon fill level and continue stirring thoroughly. Let the water stand until the insoluble ingredients have fully settled to the bottom of the container. Draw off the true solution (supematant) into a separate container. Store in a cool and dry place.

HOUSEHOLD AND LAUNDRY USE: For sanitizing and deodorizing laundry, mix 1/2 gallon of SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE 1% STOCK SOLUTION for every 100 pounds of wash. This solution is also effective for bleaching.

SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE 1% STOCK SOLUTION (1% available chlorine) Mix 13 ounces of soda ash to 3 gallons of lukewarm water and stir. Add 16 ounces (1 pound) of AQUACLOR® GRANULES and continue stirring. Let the water stand until the insoluble ingredients have fully settled to the bottom of the container. Draw off the true solutio (supematant) into a separate container. Store in a cool and dry place.

SEWAGE AND DISPOSAL USE: For effective sanitary disposal odor control, BBD reduction, and removal of poisonous matter and residue in various industrial operations, use AQUACLOR® GRANULES or AQUACLOR® 1% STOCK SOLUTION in varying amounts (determined by experimentation). WARNING: This product causes eye and skin irritations. Do not get in eyes or on skin. Harmful if swallowed. Not for personal use. If contact with eyes occur, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Call Physician, if taken internally, give milk, water or egg whites. Call Physician. IMPORTANT: This product is a strong oxidizing agent. mix only according to label directions. Mixing this product with other chemicals or organic matter may release fumes which are irritating to eyes, lungs and muccous membranes. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Keep container tightly closed when not in use to prevent moisture absorption. Store in a cool and dry area, away from direct sunlight and heat to avoid deterioraion. Do not smoke while handling this product. Use only a clean and dry ceramic, plastic or glass container when measuring this product. Keep away from heat, fire, moisture, acids, organic or combustible matter. Product or rinsates that cannot be used should be diluted with water before disposal in a sanitary sewer. Do not re-use empty container but place in trash collection.

DIRECTIONS FOR SWIMMING POOL USE • Maintain the recommended 1.0 to 1.5 ppm residual chlorine and 7.4 to 7.6 pH levels in swimming pools. • For circulating inflow pools, charge the inflow (recirculating water) continuously with AQUACLOR® 1% STOCK SOLUTION in a hypochlorinator. • For fill-and-drain pools, use any of the following methods daily or as needed to maintain a 1.0 ppm residual chlorine level: 1. Spread AQUACLOR® 1% STOCK SOLUTION over the water surface by pail. 2. Pour the necessary amount of AQUACLOR® GRANULES into a coarse cloth bag with pebbles. Attach the bag to the end of a long pole and draw the bag back-andforth through the water. 3. Spread AQUACLOR® GRANULES directly on the water surface.
