Stars of the Week Jasmine Steady, Max Carter, Antonia Mendola & Bunny Crompton-Battersby.

REMINDERS : We look forward to meeting new children and parents at our Induction on Tuesday 2nd September, 2-3pm. There will be a chance for the children to re-familiarise themselves with the nursery and have a play whilst parents have refreshments, get to know each other and ask any questions they may have.

Toy Service at St Mary’s Church The children enjoyed taking part in a very special toy service at St Mary’s church. They were excited about bringing in their favourite toys. The children listened attentively to a story and joined in with all the songs. Police visit We were visited by two police ladies who shared their experiences and taught us how to keep safe. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn about our community and the important jobs people do. The children thoroughly enjoyed trying on police hats and sitting in the car listening to the siren!

Sports Day The children enjoyed taking part in our sports day. They were given the chance to show off a variety of skills. It was lovely to see so many parents cheering the children on. We would like to say a big thank you to our helpers from the Prep school, who were excellent role models for our children.

Other memorable events include:

The annual tennis tournament, where our tennis players; Charlotte Anderson, Lilly Bomberg and Antonia Mendola displayed wonderful skills to inspire our younger Nursery children.

Please note that we have regrettably had to cancel the Pre-Prep Holiday Club. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We were proud to have some of the Nursery children taking part in the Pre-Prep swimming gala.

Your feedback is invaluable to us.

What absolute stars our children were at our end of term show! We were incredibly proud of them. They performed so well in front of an audience and with such enthusiasm. ************************************** The Nursery team would like to wish you all a wonderful summer break and we look forward to seeing those children returning to the Nursery in September.

Parent, Baby and Toddler Welcome! We would like to welcome Isabella, Isla, Madeleine and Max to our Friday group.

Now offered here at Culford. Babies love swimming! Babies have a real affinity with water, and because they’ve spent 9 months floating in the womb, being in warm water feels much more familiar to them than being on dry land. Our annual Toddle Waddle in aid of The Meningitis Trust was a great success and so far we have raised nearly £200, so a big thank you to all who took part. A special mention should go to Lily Wilson who raised over £80 herself – well done!

We have enjoyed having snack in our garden and playing outside, trying to make the most of the sunny weather!
