24 January 2014
On Tuesday, the Weston Hall was transformed into a medieval castle and PP2 spent the day in a Castle workshop run by History off the Page and kindly funded by the Pre-Prep PTA. During the day they tried some crafts in the Bailey including weaving, illuminating, making purses, pies, candles, finger guards and medicines. Some children were asked to catch some food and cook it - the rat stew looked particularly appetising! Others were taught how to fire arrows and then battle commenced. The day ended with a feast in the Great Hall with entertainment by the children who thoroughly enjoyed their memorable day.

SPONSOREDSOLO SOLOSKYDIVE SKYDIVE SPONSORED SPONSORED SOLO SKYDIVE 16TH OF FEBRUARY AT BECCLES AIRFIELD, NORFOLK Mrs Morrell’s 16 year daughter Ciara will be doing a sponsored solo skydive to raise money for the trip to Malawi in summer 2014. Each summer a group of lower sixth students give up the first three weeks of their summer holiday to travel to Malawi, to provide direct help and support to charities working there. They’ll work directly in the community to try to make a difference and improve the facilities available. The target for the trip is £2000 each, so every donation is greatly appreciated!
Thank you to those who have already sponsored Ciara. However, if you haven't already and would like to sponsor her then please see sponsor form in Pre-Prep entrance hall, or see Mrs Morrell (PP2a) or you can make a BACs Payment: 07-10-40 A/C 60531182 C Morrell (Please put your name as the reference).
