PP1 trip to Suffolk Owl Sanctuary PP1 had a fantastic day out on Tuesday, learning about all aspects of owls, as part of their literacy topic.

Meeting the different birds was so much fun. Their feathers were wonderful colours.

We were so lucky to be allowed to stroke 4 week old owlets. They were so soft. We enjoyed watching the meerkats eat their tasty lunch.

The flying demonstration was fabulous. We had to duck because the birds swooped so close to our heads!

Easton College Under 8 Tennis Tournament The Culford tennis centre first team (Adam & Max [Prep School], William [PP2] and Isaac from Sebert Wood) have been playing in this tournament twice every quarter since September. They play in the first division and face some stiff competition. They have won bronze and silver twice, being narrowly pipped at the post for the gold medal. It all came together at the weekend and between them they won 24 of their 28 matches securing the gold medal final. Obviously, they were delighted! The second team also did really well. Archie and Guy (PP2) and two boys from South Lee won gold in the second division. They have now been promoted to the first division for the final tournament of the season. The boys will have to play against each other next time! Well done boys we are very proud of all of you!

Polite reminder: As the weather is still very changeable, please ensure that your child has their waterproof coat, wellies, waterproof trousers and sun hat in school every day. On hot sunny days, we kindly ask you to apply sun cream to your child before school. NB. Children may bring a small, clearly named, bottle of sun cream to school. However, they will need to be able to apply it themselves. Unfortunately due to allergies, sun cream cannot be shared between children. Thank you for your co-operation.
