The annual programme

The last five years have seen significant growth for Boston Lithuanian Community Group. They have evolved from a small group predominantly supporting the region’s Lithuanian community, into a professionally-run organisation much in demand from a vast range of partner organisations. Entering into strategic partnerships with local, regional and national organisations, the unique skills and networks of Boston Lithuanian Community Group saw them becoming a much in demand communications bridge enabling a new cohort of initiatives to occur.

With Brexit high on the political agenda in 2015 and 2016, the Group found itself being drawn into local conversations concerning migration, integration and social cohesion. As an apolitical group it showed considerable professionalism and diplomacy in handling the potentially volatile environment of that time.
