Herold Loomis arrives at a black Pittsburgh boardinghouse after seven years’ labor on Joe Turner’s chain gang, his spirit tormented. Loomis searches for his estranged wife, believing she can help him reclaim his old identity, but realizes that he really seeks his rightful place in a new world - a discovery requiring more than the skill of the local "People Finder." This student production kicks off our ten year commitment to produce August Wilson's 10 Play Century Cycle with some of Pittsburgh’s most gifted high school student actors. Run time: 2 Hours 45 minutes.
