601 Wood Street 2nd Floor | Kurt Hentschlager: Hive Part of the Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts Hive is a 3D-animated audiovisual installation in which gallery visitors confront a swirling mass of amorphous figures, appearing as collective matter (as opposed to individual beings) in deep space. Choreographed motion, light and sound form an immersive and dynamic figurative landscape without a beginning or an end.

THIS IS HUGE The world famous giant rubber duck is making its U.S. debut in Pittsburgh with a bridge party to welcome him! Join Mikey and Big Bob from 96.1 Kiss FM’s Morning Freak Show as the world’s spotlight turns to Pittsburgh and the arrival of the four-story floating The Rubber Duck Project, launching the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts. The Rubber Duck Bridge Party features Night Market VI, presented by the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, an outdoor market that brings together some of Pittsburgh’s most creative independent art and food vendors.
