The Happiest Dinosaur By Valerie Cheers Brown Illustration by Ray Torres
This is a tale around 6 dinosaurs who all had happy names: Blythe, Felix, Felicity, Asher, Bliss & Darwin. Blythe means free spirit and happy.
Felix means happy and fortunate. Felicity literally means happy. Asher means the happy one and he always gave off a happy and upbeat vibe. Bliss means perfect happiness and great joy and perhaps there was way too much pressure on little Bliss. Darwin means dear friend and isn't this what we hope all children will be? There is nothing that makes a person happier than to have a dear friend, is it? "I have no motivation to be troubled," says Darwin. "Other than my medical issues (in fact of which there are many) my life is brilliant," says Darwin. "So I concentrate on the happy and being alive. It's a dynamic, continuous decision, and not generally a simple one," says Darwin. Darwin was speaking to all his brothers. Darwin was the oldest but he was sick all the time, yet he was the one who was happy all of the time.
Little did each dinosaur know that they each had medical issues and most of the time they did not feel good but each still remained happy to inspire and motivate one another. Darwin would always tell his brothers, "However, my medical problems are only a piece of me, not every last bit of me. We just get one life and I'm not going to live it floundering in misery over the lamentable hand I've been managed my wellbeing." Blythe speaks up with a soft & gentle voice, "To me, that would be a misuse of an excellent thing. Everybody has issues, and I solidly trust that how we manage them and how we adapt are what has the effect amongst joy and misery." Then Bliss steps in to say, " I have terrible days like any other dinosaur, however, my life is overwhelmingly great and blissful regardless of my medical issues. So I concentrate on those things." Felix shouts out, "Obviously, my own particular body gets in my way in some cases and I do get down‌ I'm not human!" All of a sudden Bliss says, "However, Bliss, I immovably accept, is a CHOICE. What's more, it takes devotion and duty
simply like some other essential decision throughout everyday life. In any case, it's along these lines, so justified, despite all the trouble." Darwin says "I imagine that experiencing something as terrifying as brain surgery, viewing my sibling lose his closest companion to malignancy at age thousands of years, knowing a couple who in their mid-1000s are managing, and so on., have likewise put plenty of things into the point of view for me." Asher speaks up to say, "My confidence in God and connecting with my profound side have helped, as well, and in addition composing/journaling and doing useful for others." "Yes," says Darwin. "And when we attempt to concentrate on helping other individuals or creatures with their issues, it influences me to concentrate less without anyone else." "Individuals have said I should not be that debilitated in case I'm ready to be happy, yet in the event that they are stating that they have no clue what I've experienced," says Asher! Darwin states: "Be that as it may, there wasn't one significant minute that changed my life. A great deal of easily overlooked details, a considerable measure of lessons learned, books read,
sermons acknowledged, cites that have enlivened, individuals who have changed my viewpoint, occasions for which I have been thankful for waking up each day!" Darwin speaks to them all: "In this way, that is my answer more or less. There was no enchantment pill, enchantment wand or enchantment cure. I simply settled on a decision to not give my medical issues a chance to cut & bring me down. Physically, I settled on a decision to curtail my drugs." They all wondered why Darwin was so happy all of the time and they knew he was really sick but when he told them he had stopped taking his medication they were all shocked! He was, however, still taking one pill which he was trying to eat right and eventually get off of too. They all really got really serious and began listening to their oldest brother. They were stunned and knew that without his medication he would die but instead, he got happier. Darwin then goes on to say"For momentarily I did things 100 percent comprehensively and all-regular which served me better and place me into clinical abatement. Presently, I'm considering
gradually reintroducing only one med for upkeep purposes and to avoid hazardous intricacies." All of his brothers began to smile and said they were so happy he told them this so they could too be happy all the time too. Darwin then says, "Be that as it may, other than that, my solution to your inquiry, "What fulfills you so?" is this: the GIFT of LIFE. I trust this makes a difference. Also, I trust you don't worry about me sharing this secretly in light of the fact that I'm certain that others ponder as you did." All the brothers were happy and hugged one another in their dinosaur sort of way. So the tale of the 6 dinosaurs: Blythe, Felix, Felicity, Asher, Bliss & Darwin ends with this moral for all of you to remember: "A debt of gratitude is in order for connecting. All the best and be well! Pick Hope. Pick Happy. Remain Positive." -End-
