Getting Here BY AIR The North of Ireland is served by flights into City of Derry Airport, Belfast International Airport and Belfast City Airport. Scheduled air services operate from nearly all major UK airports. There are many direct flights from major European cities. Major airlines operate scheduled services from the US and Canada to Belfast International Airport via UK and Republic of Ireland airports. Additionally, there are charter flights direct from New York and Toronto to Belfast.

SETS CÉILÍ - Johnny Reidy with the on the Ebrington stage as part of the closing celebrations. Perfect Friction are a seven piece band from Wicklow. The Friel Sisters, Anna, Sheila and Clare, are young traditional musicians hailing from Glasgow/Donegal – they play a mixture of music interspersed with songs, many from their family repertoire. In this workshop we shall take Irish Dancing and work on mixing it with contemporary choreography and movement. The Light of Other Days encapsulates the work of Lurgan-born Jim Maginn’s photographic archive of traditional Irish musicians 1985-2012. Irish traditional music, song and dance is regarded worldwide as a vibrant the homes and crossroads of rural Ireland to its animated and evolving cultural phenomenon. Common themes in the music are daily life, romance, struggles, nature and landscape all of which are still prevalent today.The exhibition features historic and contemporary photographs and text showcasing the traditions.
