I started Culturs Magazine to create commiunity and enhance human connection for in-between identities. As one who identified with seven cultures on four continents before age 19, the only place I felt like people understood me was, well – nowhere. Coming from a family with multiple cultures, living in even more cultures as I approached adulthood, and often not looking or thinking like those around me, led me to embrace the in-between. Today, more than 238 million people around the globe have similar experiences. In the United States, people of color under age 18 make up the majority population. By 2045, that will be the entire populace. Culturs provides the ONE. SINGLE. SPACE. That covers topics and people important to this pertinent and INCREDIBLY LARGE niche market. IT represents the People, Places, and Products to help our audience members unleash their inherent Power… It’s a place to understand and be understood - much like the feeling of warmth from being at home. Doni, CULTURS’ founder, is a culturally and globally mobile Afro-Latina who lived on four continents and identified with seven cultures by age 19. She is passionate about education and creating community for cross cultural populations. She has presented around the globe as a Keynote, at conferences, universities and in media as a lifestyle expert focused on entrepreneurship, marketing, diversity and inclusion, and crosscultural identity. With this background, she developed university curricula for global culture.

Doni uses her global, multi-cultural background, academic training, and career experience in media, management and business to position CULTURS as the first-ever digital-first print publication and product marketplace of its kind - one that addresses global and mobile cultural identities, with emphasis on hidden diversity. ---Most recently, she consulted on culture for Warner Brothers Studios and Turner Network Television, working on “I am the Night,” directed by Wonder Woman Patty Jenkins (“Wonder Woman,” “Monster”) and starring Chris Pine (“Star Trek,” “Wonder Woman”); and branding and culture for the Peter Tosh Estate (Tosh is a founding member of the Wailers with Bob Marley) in Jamaica. In 2018, "Culturs" - The Global Multicultural Magazine Celebrating Cross-Cultural identity” reached more than 1.2 million through email, mobile , digital

and print editions distributed in Whole Foods, Barnes and Noble, Books-a-Million, Sprouts and university and independent bookstores. Doni’s experience includes marketing for corporations, retail and education & editing for print and digital magazines. She worked in-front-of or behind-thescenes with ABC's The View, Lifetime Television, The Tyra Banks Show, EXTRA TV, Soap Opera Weekly, Woman's Day, Pregnancy Magazine, Woman's World, Oxygen, Oprah Magazine and more. She has interviewed celebrities including Naomi Watts (King Kong, Birdman), Molly Simms (Sports Illustrated Model; Actor - NBC's Las Vegas), Anne Hathaway (The Princess Diaries, The Intern) and business and political names including Colorado Governors John Hickenlooper and Bill Ritter, Denver Mayor Wellington Webb, Eula Adams (First Data Corporation), L. Don Brown (Coors), & more. She previously served as head of a manufacturing company developing original, award-winning products selling in 45 countries via stores like Hallmark, ProFlowers, Major museums in the U.S., Europe and Oceana, and independent stores globally. She also developed custom-branded products for organizations including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Getty Museum, Jouer Cosmetics and CBS television, and for celebrities like Dancing with the Stars' Brooke Burke, The Bachelorette's Trista Sutter, music artist-Usher.
