Family Time
11 de Mayo 2022 - Autocinema Con motivo de celebrar a mamá y papá, todo el equipo de Cumbres International School organizó este magno evento lleno de mucha energía positiva, buena música, diversión y deliciosa comida. Presentando la película titulada "Vaselina", nuestras queridas familias fueron partícipes de la proyección de la misma en un formato único, también, tuvimos una bonita misa agradeciendo a Dios por darnos la dicha de estar juntos en estos grandes momentos de alegría y amistad. Teniendo la oportunidad de volvernos a reunir después de una larga pandemia, considerando siempre los lineamientos de higiene y salubridad, aprovechamos para platicar con algunas familias que con mucho entusiasmo nos expresaron su emoción al estar de nuevo reunidos, pero sobre todo por la convivencia y socialización que ya a todos nos hacía mucha falta después de una larga espera... ¡Después de la tormenta, la calma reinará! Por último y como nota relevante, gracias a todas nuestras familias por siempre "Ser parte" de este gran movimiento, de esta increíble comunidad, pero sobre todo por su compañía que, para nosotros, es una de las cosas más valiosas que podemos tener... ¡Enhorabuena, que Dios los bendiga!.

RECONOCIMIENTOS
El pasado 20 de mayo, en conmemoración y con motivo de la celebración del día del maestro, se hizo una entrega especial de un reconocimiento a la trayectoria de los formadores de nuestro colegio, quienes han dedicado su vida a la importante labor de formar y educar. Profesores que han colaborado en nuestro colegio por 10, 15 y hasta 20 años. También se entregaron reconocimientos a quienes han obtenido, por su gran disciplina y dedicación, grados académicos que representan un esfuerzo de estudio y formación continua. Nuestros profesores han contribuido a formar generaciones de personas íntegras que hoy están en las mejores preparatorias, universidades y muchos de ellos ya son profesionistas y padres de familia egresados de nuestro colegio con el sello Semper Altius.

Celebrating Children's Week. Throughout the whole week we celebrated our students with fun activities each day such as bringing their bike to school, dressing up as an explorers by looking for Easter eggs, being Disney characters and some crazy hat day as well. We enjoyed this week so much! Teacher Appreciation Week. As we did in students week we appreciated our teachers with some fun activities as well. Students brought along roses for them, a car parade with messages being thankful for teaching and their unconditional love as well there was as integration activity with the teachers whilst students cheer them and lastly there was an amazing and delicious picnic were we shared together.

Proyecto matemático de 4°A y B donde el aprendizaje esperado: Resuelvo situaciones de la vida cotidiana, usando el razonamiento lógico-matemático. Por medio de rincones matemáticos, material concreto y trabajo colaborativo, los alumnos favorecen el razonamiento matemático.
Proyecto de 6°A y B practicando lo aprendido en diferentes materias de manera divertida. Ejemplo Adivina, quién con banderas de diferentes países hasta personajes históricos de México. Serpientes y escaleras con preguntas de cultura general. Poniendo en práctica las normas de convivencia, toma de decisiones y por supuesto, la creatividad. Se aplicó estos juegos durante las pausas activas en donde se divirtieron los alumnos mientras aprendían.

Los alumnos de kínder I aprendieron la vocal "i" y realizaron un collar en el MakerSpaces, en la impresora 3 D, donde además, de verbalizar en casa algunas palabras que empiezan con la vocal, y de una manera divertida y activa, favoreciendo los aprendizajes de una manera transversal, favoreciendo las competencias del perfil de egreso
Los alumnos de Preescolar están aprendiendo en la clase de robótica, el uso de los tapetes y Beebot, los principios de la programación, además, favorecen la psicomotricidad fina y gruesa, ya que les ayuda adquirir los conceptos de arriba, abajo, derecha e izquierda y así favorecer el seguimiento de instrucciones y favorece los periodos de atención. Los alumnos aprenden de una manera activa, lúdica, manteniéndolos motivados para seguir favoreciendo el aprendizaje significativo

badge. Congratulations! “Bullying” by M.Fernanda Zenil Cruz First of all, we need to understand what is bullying. Bullying is a student who physically or psychologically abuses another in a cruel, aggressive, or threatening way. Bullying takes smiles, takes lives. "This is the result of bullying. My beautiful boy was fighting a battle that I couldn't save him from. It's real. It's silent. And there is absolutely nothing we can do as parents to take away this deep pain," says a mother of a 12-year-old boy who committed suicide after being bullied at school in the United States of America. Therefore, bullying must be stopped before it ends with a life. One word, one push, one more insult can be the end of a human being who was not to blame for anything, you cannot mistreat people for the way they are. One day I heard a phrase that changed my perspective "All children in the world should have a sign that says Fragile, be careful contains dreams." This phrase tells us everything. It tells us that every student has expectations in life, and it is not fair that someone takes them away just for the silly fun of other people. It should be noted that the bully may also be suffering at home. Normally these people who are always on the defensive is because they are being attacked by a family member. That is why I like to say that children are like a glass jar because if it is not broken it does not hurt, on the other hand if it has already been harmed or broke it can hurt other people who are not the guilty of their pain. Bullying is something that needs to stop. If you see a person who is not having a good time, get close and ask if everything is alright, if you see that the bullied still does not trust you, seek help before it is too late. If you who are listening to me suffer from bullying, I would like to give you a small message: I want to tell you that you have been very strong and I admire you for everything you have endured but this ends when you raise your voice, say it! If they don't believe you, don't stop until they stop. And don't think about ending your life because I am 100% sure that there will be better times and only you decide when they start. Say it! Say it again without fear! Say it! I admire you and there is always someone who will be there to support you, just look for it.

Eventos Preescolar
Festejo de la Pascua: Los alumnos de Preescolar festejaron la Pascua, llegó la coneja de Pascua con conejitos, todos los alumnos pudieron convivir con estos lindos conejos, les regalaron un huevo a cada uno y además salieron al jardín a buscar huevos de Pascua. Fue un rato muy divertido, pero también lleno de aprendizajes, ya que se les explicó la importancia de festejar la Pascua y porque Viene la coneja a dejar huevos. Los Católicos estamos Felices de que Jesús Resucito.
Festejo del día del Niño: El personal de Preescolar les preparo a los alumnos un viaje por el mar, donde los niños disfrutaron de un lunch, y juegos con temáticas del mar, todo el personal de Preescolar y las mamás animadoras con mucho cariño, les hicimos pasar un día inolvidable, se les entregó al finalizar el día un pequeño regalo por parte de todos. ¡Un gran momento! Nuestros niños son lo más importante para nosotros.
Festejo del día del Maestro: Los alumnos prepararon una sorpresa para sus maestros, las mamás animadoras en representación de las mamás de todos los alumnos entregaron un regalo, después se tuvo una misa de acción de gracias y una comida, Gracias por todas las muestras de cariño, nos hicieron sentir muy especiales. ¡Mil gracias!

STEAM Makerspace
Vital Systems for Spooky Scary Skeletons To identify the vital organs and systems that make up the human body, our 7th graders used their imagination and designed 3D models to "bring to life" some spooky scary skeletons in need. A mixture of imagination, creativity, science, fun, teamwork and STEAM culture were the key pieces for this great work to be carried out within the biology subject.
