Build beyond the ordinary.
Be Extraordinary.® BRING YOUR VISION TO LIFE GameTime Landmark DesignTM will help you design and create play spaces that tell a community’s story and inspire children and families to be active and playful. We work with you to determine your vision for a signature recreation destination, and we combine the right products, materials, and concepts to make your dream a reality. You’re involved in every step of the process from the initial sketches and early models, manufacturing, and installation to ensure the end results exceed your expectations.
1
A PROVEN PROCESS The success of any project lies in the details. We take painstaking efforts to make sure your dream comes to life exactly as you imagined. We identify goals and objectives, outline a clear plan to achieve them and involve you every step of the way.
1 COLLABORATION Let’s creatively brainstorm and prioritize the desired project outcomes. We’ll consider historical, cultural, and educational opportunities, explore accessibility and universal design, and discuss materials to minimize environmental impact.
2 NEEDS ASSESSMENT Now is the time to determine the best site location and how to secure the property for the project. We’ll consider the number of children and adults who will use the space, how to create age-appropriate play, and any special requests. We’ll also review the project timeline and budget.
3 PRELIMINARY DESIGN Let’s get input from key stakeholders and community groups, including parents and children, to make sure everyone is heard. We can help you host a design workshop or town hall meeting to brainstorm ideas and hone in on a central theme. This is the perfect time to review the project timeline, sequencing, and budget.
2
4 FINAL DESIGN During the preliminary design phase we’ll provide early sketches and drawings to help determine the style of your new play space. Now it’s time to finalize the concepts. We prepare an interactive look book with renderings and animations so you can see the final design options. This is also when you’ll receive a final proposal with budget, timelines, and responsibilities assigned to all parties.
5 FINAL APPROVAL Once the final design, budget and schedule are approved, it’s time to place the order for your materials. Final engineering, including detailed component shop drawings, takes place after the order is placed. On select projects, the approval phase will include scale models or a visit to our design and manufacturing studio for approval of key details.
6 SITE CONSTRUCTION This is where dreams become reality and you see how all of the planning pays off. We help coordinate an expert team of site contractors, certified playground equipment installers and play specialists to prepare the site, assemble all the components, and bring the play space to life.

INDIAN BEACH PARK Miami Beach, FL
Imagine a playground where the ocean breeze whispers through the sails over a giant, climbable lighthouse. That’s exactly what we created at Indian Beach Park in Miami Beach, Florida. Children squeal with delight as they zoom across the ocean on jet ski climbers, their laughter as loud as the waves crashing nearby. We added a lifeguard station with a lookout tower that’s perfect for keeping watch or for sunscreen reapplications.
4
BEACHSIDE RETREAT This isn’t your average playground; it’s a fantastical place where imaginative play meets the magic of the Miami seaside. We designed every element to complement the adjacent beach and incorporated plenty of ways for children to explore, socialize, and have fun.

11
TOUCAN’S HIDEAWAY West Chicago, IL
Children can climb, slide, and jump in this sprawling wonderland of play. Timbers towers provide a toucan’s eye view of the play area and net climbers connect the various sections of the play system for exploration and discovery. The entire play space features accessible poured rubber surfacing.

14
BUILDING THE VISION You have a vision for your custom play environment. Our designers work with you to create drawings and renderings to help you see how the space will look before sculpting and manufacturing begins.
15
SAGE HILLS CHURCH Wenatchee, WA
The Pacific Northwest theme of this playground was the perfect fit for Sage Hills Church. Designed to complement the adventure theme of the children’s ministry building, kids feel like they’re walking along a nearby river. Younger kids can enjoy the canoe climbers and fish head stepping stones, while the older kids jog back and forth on the rope bridges suspended over the “river.”
16
17
18
PLAY FOR ALL AGES Families in the Sage Hills congregation have children ranging in age from infants to middle school, so church officials wanted a playground that included some amenities to suit everyone.

SMITHSONIAN NATIONAL ZOOLOGICAL PARK Washington, D.C.
This exquisitely detailed play environment traces a bee’s path through a garden and allows children to imagine life as a bee! It features a beehive treehouse, bee and honeycomb climbers, flower garden and themed accessible poured rubber surfacing throughout the play area. Bring the wonders of nature to life with Landmark Design!
24
25 25
GETTING THE DETAILS RIGHT The goal was to create a play space that was larger than life but still lifelike. It was essential to get the details right and demonstrate how bees live and interact with the environment. We studied the life and habits of bees, worked to understand how children would explore the space, and created drawings and renderings to help the National Zoo curators see their vision come to life. We worked together to find the right materials and components to give children an opportunity to learn and make the learning experience fun and active in a space that encourages children and adults to play together. 26
Choosing the right materials makes all the difference when creating a custom play space.

ANGEL’S GATE PARK San Pedro, CA
Angels Gate Park, a jewel on San Pedro’s rugged coast, beckons with breathtaking Pacific panoramas. Lush green cliffs, sculpted by wind and time look out toward Catalina Island in the distance. The centerpiece of this beautiful park is the Korean Bell of Friendship. It was presented to the people of Los Angeles by the Republic of Korea to celebrate the U.S. bicentennial, to honor veterans of the Korean War, and to signal the friendship between two countries. Housed in a pagoda-like structure, it serves as the inspiration for the custom playground that lies in its shadow.
40
41
42
INSPIRED DESIGN We selected colors and crafted custom roofs for this play structure that mimic the look of the pagoda-style monument. The custom surfacing was designed to look like the grass, sand, and sea, that make up the landscape around the park. These personalized touches give the playground a unique style that complements the beauty and purpose of this space.
43
LITTLE DEBBIE PARK Collegedale, TN

COLUMBIA PARK Kennewick, WA
Columbia Park is in the heart of the Tri Cities of Eastern Washington and the home of the Tri Cities Water Follies - an unlimited hydroplane race that’s been held every year for more than a half century. Thousands of families converge on the park each year to watch the races. The community long dreamed of creating an inclusive playground that reflected their unique geography and culture. Their work with GameTime Landmark Design made it possible for people of all ages and abilities to play together.
52
53
ATTENTION TO DETAIL It all started with the hydroplane. Our designers created a replica climber for children and families to explore during play, and to reflect the adventurous spirit of the community.
54
EXPLORE HISTORY Kennewick began its history as a river community but quickly grew into one of the most important western railway hubs. Both modes of transportation are represented on the playground, as well as a climbable lighthouse and bridge-themed accessible ramp to illustrate the unique features of the community.
55
NEALON PARK Menlo Park, CA
We designed Nealon Park to connect a community with its heritage. The VW bus was virtually the official car of Menlo Park “back in the day,” and Menlo Park has long been recognized as an arborist’s haven with its network of tree canopies throughout the city. We captured these and other elements in this custom play space that is designated a National Demonstration Site for Nature-Based Play and Inclusion. To learn more about National Demonstration Site status, go to www.gametime.com/nds
56
57
HISTORY AND HERITAGE Back in the 60s, the minibus was a mainstay in Menlo Park. People from around the region would camp out under the stars and enjoy the natural surroundings. We captured some of that spirit with a minibus play structure and custom tent and campfire climbers.
