About your Cambridge National Enterprise and Marketing course and qualification Launching a new product or service onto the market can be an exciting challenge. The Cambridge National Enterprise and Marketing course will help you learn the vital skills necessary for success in business. You will learn how to find out about the needs and wants of your potential customers through market research, and how to use this information to plan and target promotions at the right people. You will learn about different types of business ownership, and how to complete financial calculations to determine whether your business idea will make a profit. You will apply your learning to design a brand identity and create a product proposal, which you will then market and pitch to an audience. During your Enterprise and Marketing course, you will develop learning and practical skills that can be used in other life or work situations, such as skills in research, communication and presentation. Your Cambridge National in Enterprise and Marketing can help you progress on to other related study, such as further qualifications in Business. How you will be assessed You have to complete three mandatory units. • R067: Enterprise and marketing concepts. You will take a written exam for this unit. The exam lasts for 1 hour 15 minutes, and is worth 70 marks (80 UMS). The exam is set and marked by OCR. • R068: Design a business proposal. You will be given a set assignment with 6 practical tasks, which is worth 60 marks (60 UMS). • R069: Market and pitch a business proposal.
