About the Artist
Leigh Standley is the artist, writer and owner of Curly Girl Design, Inc. In its fourteen years, Curly Girl Design and Leigh’s line of clever and colorful greeting cards and art have taken the industry by delightful storm. Focused on the magic of small moments, her product peeks into the corners of life and taps into the hearts of all. Founded in 2002, the company began with just 12 greeting cards and has grown steadily to include all types of gift, stationery and home decor. Curly Girl Design products are distributed all over the world. Leigh earned a BFA from the University of Kansas School of Design, holds two Louie awards for greeting card excellence and has been a nominee for five others. Originally from the midwest, Leigh makes her home in Boston with her husband, twin three-year-olds and her favorite mutt, Lucy. She believes firmly in the power of creativity and community to unlock our truest selves and is proudly “living imperfectly with great delight.”

Where do you ship from? We are a proud Massachusetts company! Our home office is located just outside of Boston in Newton, MA while our fulfillment house is located just an hour north in Billerica, MA.
Where are your products manufactured? All of our cards, paper products, magnets, and chocolates are proudly made in New England! Our gift products such as mugs, art blocks, candles, etc. are made with lots of love overseas.
How quickly do my items ship? Orders placed online (www.curlygirlwholesale.com) ship within 1-2 business days! All other orders ship within 2-3 business days!
Do I qualify for terms? We happily offer Net 30 terms to our qualified customers. If you are not an existing customer, your first order must be paid with a credit card at time of shipment. To apply for Net 30 terms after your first order, simply send three credit references to customercare@curlygirldesign.com and we’ll get you started!
I see you don’t have specific occasion categories for cards like ‘birthday’ or ‘wedding’, why is that and do you offer occasion cards? We have a saying: our cards are for people, not occasions! While we offer many cards specific to categories you may be looking for, such as Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, New Baby, etc, most of our cards are written with our loved ones in mind. When customers find our cards in a shop like yours, they may be looking for a ‘birthday’ card, but they’ll leave with much more! Standing in front of a Curly Girl display means they’re going to pick up one that reminds them of their sister, a funny one to put up in the office, and maybe a sweet one to send to a faraway friend. In this way, our cards rarely sell in single $4 sales, but rather a handful of cards for all their friends and family. Now that’s something to smile about!
