After 15 years, Kaushiki Chakraborty returns to Leicester. With her, she brings the rejuvenation of a legacy continued by the greatest Indian classical musicians of khayal (imagination).

Immerse yourself and prepare for a rollercoaster ride – from languid development to fast-paced improvisation delivered at virtuosic speeds.

She is accompanied by maestro tabla player Yashwant Vaishnav and both masters Murad Ali on the sarangi and Tanmay Deochake on the harmonium.

Darbar are producers of the Darbar Festival, Darbar Player subscription app and the Darbar Academy, which provides the best Indian music learning. This concert is presented in partnership with Curve.
