The Junior Analyst, BeLux Research, EMEA will contribute to research activities across the Belux region, including sourcing, working with and analysing data The candidate will support client engagement and our brand through contributions to thought leadership collateral, regular reporting and preparation of presentations for client presentations and events
The individual will develop a deep understanding of the BeLux real estate market, data landscape and the existing data systems both within Cushman & Wakefield and complementary sources outside the company, with a key deliverable being enhanced data quality and consistency across the region while assisting making data accessible to key stakeholders.
The role will involve close connectivity with EMEA research teams to align BeLux data resources and market insight with related research deliverables in EMEA.
The role will directly report to and work closely with the Head of Operations, Business Development Services, EMEA to deliver priority projects (data and thought leadership) and support excellent client engagement.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with Belux stakeholders to coordinate Office, Logistics and Retail data including existing stock, rental values, capital values, yields, supply, demand, vacancy rates and other real estate data points
• Through the analysis of data and identification of trends and local market insight, contribute to and help develop sector thought leadership and regular reporting. Regular reporting may include quarterly MarketBeats and Presentations for:
• Belgium Office
• Belgium Retail
• Belgium Industrial & Logistics
• Luxembourg Office
• Luxembourg Retail
• Over time, build up a network of relationships with market stakeholders and industry bodies to create speaking opportunities. Support client engagement, including preparing presentations for key clients across Belux
• Liaise with market-facing colleagues collecting information from them while reciprocating with data and insight to support client engagement/prospecting/pitching, and/or proposal materials.
• Liaise with EMEA research teams to:
o coordinate and collaborate on data
o understand Cushman & Wakefield regional research outputs and coordinate at a local level seeking opportunities to regionalize content
• Contribute to building the profile of the firm as it relates to market research across Belux, including engaging regularly with Marketing colleagues to ensure that all research content is being picked up and fully leveraged with appropriate audiences.

KEY SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
• Mother tongue: Dutch
• Interest in real estate sectors with willingness to learn and “dive deep” on key subject areas
• Strong data management skills including attention to detail and timelines. Experience with performing quantitative market analysis and data management
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Power BI or other data analytics tools is an asset
• Strong communications skills (presentation, written). Skilled in Power Point
• Strong capability to problem-solve with the ability to work effectively, efficiently, and independently in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment
• Initiative to develop ideas into new projects or themes to explore in concert with regional research colleagues
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• 1-2+years’ experience in professional services or real estate sector
• Bachelor Degree in Research, Economics, Geography or Real Estate preferred
• Experience in delivering client/market-facing reports and presentations
• Experience in data curation, analysis and insight
• Excellence written and oral communication skill
