This is a phone call, skype session, or in-studio meeting where we learn about you and your wedding, answer all your paper questions, and help you decide on your stationery details. after this meeting, you’ll receive an order form where you can approve your official pricing proposal and your *wording, contract, and payment. After submitting your order, we will be designing your wedding stationery! *NEED HELP WITH WORDING? WE CAN HELP WITH THAT TOO!

OH, WAIT! HOLD ON. THERE’S A HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT!! Please read the rest of the catalog and make sure you can answer the following three questions during our meeting:
1. WHAT’S YOUR QUANTITY? Don’t think about how many guests you’re inviting, but about how many ADDRESSES are on your mailing list. Hint: It’s usually around half of your total guest count!
2. WHAT’S YOUR BUDGET?
For us, the sky’s the limit. So, we need to know YOUR budget to create a realistic list of items for you to order.
3. WHEN DO YOU WANT TO MAIL YOUR INVITATIONS? We suggest mailing your invitations 8 weeks before your wedding. Please let us know if you need more time!

Share your inspiration with us and together we’ll determine the style of your stationery. Trust your gut, show us what you love. Then hand over the reigns and trust us to transform your inspiration into a stationery suite that suits you, your event, and your guests perfectly. Then once you’ve signed the contract, we ask that you pump the brakes on the wedding magazine subscriptions and know that you’ve made the right decisions for your stationery* - I mean, you hired us, right?
*Think of it like your wedding gown - just like you don’t go searching for gowns after you’ve bought THE dress, don’t go searching for more stationery inspiration after you’ve signed the contract. In our experience, we see time and time again that brides are happier when they go with their initial instincts.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED TIMING Q. How long will my order take to design, print, and ship? A. Typically an order takes about 6-8 weeks for completion. Q. I’m behind schedule. can we move things along quicker? A. Short answer, yes. Long answer, yes. We can accommate your timeline. Please note that rush charges may apply.
DESIGN PROCESS
Q. Can i see samples of your work? A. Absolutely! We would love for you to come into the shop and look at our past work. Can’t make it in? Don’t worry. We can send some to you! Q. How does the design process work? A. Send us your inspiration: fonts you like, colors you’re using, design and feel of your wedding. Make a pinterest board of some pieces you like. Basically get us an idea and things to work with! Q. How does the proofing process work? A. Clients typically recieve 1-3 proofs in the process. We will send you a proof of your peices with instructions on how to provide feedback with your change order. Each round of proofs typically takes a week. Q. What’s a change order? A. A change order is one list of multiple changes on your proof. Each client receives five change orders. Any additional change orders do incur an additional fee. Q. How does the approval process work? A. Once you no longer have any more changes, we’ll send you a digital print with the details of the quantity, size, and paper. Once you review and approve, we send everything to print! Q. Can I change the design, wording, quantity, or paper after I approved my pieces? A.Yes, but some changes may incur extras fees and approval.

PRINTING Q Can you print in white ink? A.Yes! Note that certain types of paper are required and additional fees for specialty printing are applied. Q. Can you print in gold on the digital press? A. Technically yes, but it is a matte finish. For a shiny gold look, a gold foil print process is required, which costs more. Q. Can you print my guest addresses on my envelopes? A.Yes! We can flat print your guest addresses. Alternatively, we can work with a calligrapher to address your invitations or save the date cards.
ENVELOPES/ADDRESSING INVITATIONS Q. Can I order square envelopes? A. Of course! Please note that postage is more expensive for square envelopes. Q. Can I order colored envelopes? A.Yes! They may cost extra. Q. Do you work with calligraphers? A.Yes! We are more than happy to coordinate the addressing of your pieces with the calligrapher of your choice.
SHIPPING AND MAILING
Q. Will you assemble and mail my invitations? A.Yes, we can for an additional fee - please inquire for a quote. Q. How much will the postage cost to mail my invitation? A. It depends! Postage depends on the size of your envelope, the weight of the pieces being mailed, and where they are being mailed to. We can provide an estimate for postage based on these factors, but we highly encourage you to visit your local post office for an in-person estimate. Please note that square envelopes always cost more.
