• A MIX OF YOUNG AND OLD: Concordia Wisconsin’s roster features
a balanced mix of young and old. They have seven upperclassmen, including two seniors, with three of those players starting last year. As well, the Falcons have 12 underclassmen (seven freshmen).
UW-PLATTEVILLE PIONEERS
• FALCONS WON IT LAST TIME: The Falcons held off a gritty Pioneers team last season (December 30) to earn a difficult 58-55 victory. CUW’s Baylee Barker sank a PLAYER TO WATCH pair of free throws to put the visitors ahead by six points with 57 seconds to play. At the time, it pushed the Falcons record to 8-1.

TRADITION OF SUCCESS: Concordia Wisconsin knows how to win, evident by its 223 victories over the past 12 seasons, all under the direction of head coach Stacey Brunner-Jones. The Falcons have won six conference titles during that time.
• UW-PLATTEVILLE TO RELY ON HORSTMAN: The Pioneers Brianna Wagner is the Falcons only lost their top scorer from last returning All-NACC honoree (First season, but will rely heavily Team). She led the team last season in on Morgan Horstman who av- rebounding (176) and blocks (36). eraged 10.5 points per game. They will also expect Allison Prestegaard to elevate her game after averaging 6.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. • THE BUUCK IS A DIFFICULT PLACE TO PLAY: When opponents walk
into the R. John Buuck Field House, they know a battle will ensue. Over the past six seasons the Falcons have compiled an impressive 57-16 record on their home court.
• PICKED SECOND IN THE NACC: Concordia Wisconsin was chosen to finish second in the NACC Preseason Poll. The Falcons won the NACC regular season title last season with a 17-3 record and finished with a 20-6 overall record.
